matt50 Posted March 13, 2009 Report Posted March 13, 2009 i loved the stalker storyline one of the best in home and away history loved how they keeped it going for months and had it a mystery who the stalker really was at the start i thought it was Sarah loved how they showed one thing happening after another i showed what people can be capable when they loose a loved one i thought it was very tragic how Sarah and Zoe found true love only just to loose it everyone thought Sarah loved Felix more but u can love 2 people at the same time very deeply
halcyon06 Posted March 13, 2009 Report Posted March 13, 2009 ^I lovedv the stalker storyline, as crazy as it was!
Red Ranger 1 Posted March 13, 2009 Report Posted March 13, 2009 A crazy woman in love with another crazy woman. There really is someone for everyone...I wasn't too keen on it, it seemed like an excuse for lazy writing, they seemed to be able to do anything and just say "The stalker did it."And the whole "Summer Bay will pay" thing seemed a poor cover for the fact that anyone she might actually want to get revenge on had left the show:Dani was gone, Kirsty and Kane left pretty quickly, Scott, who would seem to be the next most obvious, got through the whole business barely troubled. Most of the people in the firing line(Dan, Josie, Kim, Martha)either never met Sarah or weren't even in town at the time. And yeah, I guessed it was Zoe straightaway.I knew the storyline was coming up so when a ridiculously cheerful new character turns up...no brainer. If you watched with that in mind, it was pretty obvious:they found the plane tickets right where she'd just been standing, she suggested the murder mystery thing, Sally was attacked right after telling her she thought the Stalker was still out there, neither we nor Kim saw anyone else when she was supposedly attacked...
martha-jack Posted March 14, 2009 Report Posted March 14, 2009 I did really like the stalker storyline but that as really the first time round, when i heard she was back i was a bit like *does this b**ch have balls of steel or something, does she never die* and started getting fed up when she kept anonymously popping up. but aside that i loved it
-Kevin- Posted March 14, 2009 Report Posted March 14, 2009 I think the original stalker plot was fantastic and kept us guessing for months on end and it did get a tad boring after a while as well. Now in saying I loved the Stalker plot , I loved the original and hated the sequel so much. It was written so badly to be honest and it just had no catch because we knew who the stalker was this time and there was no supense. The sequel was a very bad move by the writers.
Drew Posted March 14, 2009 Report Posted March 14, 2009 The sequel had potential, but all they were interested in was having the big "surprise she's back episode" and then her "final revenge" which was crap all by blowing up the entire cast. If they planned it right, they could have went places with it, but it seemed more like a cat and mouse game between Zoe and Peter rather then her revenge with the Bay. The original was one of my favourite eras, but the sequel was lame ****house!
martha-jack Posted March 14, 2009 Report Posted March 14, 2009 The thing that annoyed me was the fact that there was so many survivors in that explosion, not saying that i wanted them to die but it just wasn't realistic enough with them all surviving, Rachel's mum was the only person who died wans't she excluding Peter as he didn't actually die.
halcyon06 Posted March 15, 2009 Report Posted March 15, 2009 There were things I loved about the Sequel and things I didn't. I loved the video she sent to Jack and Martha's house with pictures of them all, and the infamous ''Tick Tock'' sound in the background. It was so eery, and a great way for everyone to find out, together. I also loved when Sally found out, really clever to link it back to the ''Tick Tock'' on the lightbulb. I loved the explosion, it was really dramatic! Although I agree, it was kind of stupid that the only people who died were the two evil ones, Rachels mum and ''Peter''...who turned out to be alive! It was so sad when Rachels mum died though, it was such a great scene and Amy pulled it off briliantly. One of my favourite Amy scenes! But other than that It was pretty dull. I hated the helicopter crash that followed, one of the worst H & A storylines if you ask me.
Red Ranger 1 Posted March 15, 2009 Report Posted March 15, 2009 Yeah, she really didn't learn from her mistakes...Wandering back into a building you've rigged to explode once might be considered foolish, doing it a second time is obviously just deeply stupid.
-Kevin- Posted March 16, 2009 Report Posted March 16, 2009 Yeah, she really didn't learn from her mistakes...Wandering back into a building you've rigged to explode once might be considered foolish, doing it a second time is obviously just deeply stupid. Yeah she was a bit thick wasnt she . Was she expecting the wedding cake to come along I wonder ? I think she intended to die at the wedding though. My favourite part of the return was her actual return to the bay when her car drove up to the welcome to Summer Bay sign and she stepped out of the car. I have looked everywhere for that episode but I just cant find it anywhere
