Cat3 Posted February 26, 2009 Report Posted February 26, 2009 Former EastEnders actress Wendy Richard has just died aged 65, from breast cancer, her agent has confirmed. Wendy also appeared in tv shows as Dad's Army, Are You Being Served, even had a role in two Carry On films - Carry On Matron and Carry On Girls. She lefted Eastenders in 1996 after 22 years in the show playing the actresss of Pauline Fowler. R.I.P Wendy Richard 20 July 1943 - 26 Feb 2009.

Luc Posted February 26, 2009 Report Posted February 26, 2009 This is so sad! I loved her as Pauline in EastEnders, and she was awesome in Are You Being Served?. It's such a great loss to Britain, and the world . My condolences to John, her husband, her family and friends.
