*Maddie* Posted February 22, 2009 Report Posted February 22, 2009 Robbie. He was kind and gentle and generous, and he never expected anything in return. He was a loyal friend, a devoted husband and father, and a loving but independent son. He also had his bad points - deep insecurity, which sometimes came out as aggression; often poor judgment, gullibility, and weakness, but that's what made him seem so real and human. I feel like I'm writing his eulogy... maybe because I am mourning the loss of such a beautiful spirit, even a fictional one, who could bring so much joy to my life. I wish he would come back, but... I sadly don't think he will. If Jason Smith loved me like I love him, he'd come back...
**Julie** Posted February 22, 2009 Report Posted February 22, 2009 Alf, Sally, Pippa, Morag & Colleen.
-Kevin- Posted February 23, 2009 Report Posted February 23, 2009 My Summer Bay legends are Sally and Jack
ter06 Posted February 23, 2009 Report Posted February 23, 2009 Sally - she IS Home and Away for me, and I hope we see Kate back in episode 5000. The show just hasn't been the same since she left. Irene - I think if I knew Irene in real life I could be friends with her. She is loyal, funny and kind. Morag - every scene she has ever been in has had me hooked. Cornelia plays her to perfection and had a real passion for her. Leah - the episodes that aired this week remind me why I love her! Marilyn - brilliant character from day one, was always entertaining but the doom and gloom of Summer Bay made her a different woman. Alf - Ray Meagher certainly didnt get the rough end of the flamin pineapple by getting the chance to play Alf!! Colleen - where would you be without her? She cracks me up. Pippa - I think if I wrote this a year ago she wouldnt be on the list but last year I really grew to like her again and had her warmth back which I thought had been missing in previous years.
Nathan. Posted February 23, 2009 Report Posted February 23, 2009 Alf! His quotes, his personality, just who he is. Taking Alf out of Summer Bay would be like taking the banana out of a banana split. It just wouldn't work...
martha-jack Posted February 23, 2009 Report Posted February 23, 2009 i think Martha, in the few years she has been here she has been through a hell of a lot and i really admire her for that going from the tomb boy farm girl to the sexy pole dancer and now shes struggling with cancer and lost two babies and the whole 'will we won't we' with Jack so i just think she is amazing.
