Favourite scene/s

In no particular order:

- Cassie finding out she had HIV and all scenes centred around this storyline

- Morag and Ross at the hospital after finding out about he has Alzheimer

- All the scenes involving Aden and Belle getting together

- Aden and Belle talking on the beach in the rain after he comes out of the clinic

- Aden confronting Larry for the first time (when Roman comes and takes him away)

- Aden moving back with Larry to look after him after the robbery. When Larry holds him and says he's sorry and Aden gets tears in his eyes

- Jazz and Miles getting together (first date in particular)

- Aden and Belle first kiss (still find it extremely electric)

- Belle telling Aden it's enough for her to hold hands (the whole conversation during that scene).

- Jack and Martha getting married

- Jack and Martha getting back together post Sam's disappearance

- Martha being told by Alf about Jack's death (sad but very well acted)

- Nicole telling Roman that she loved him and calling him dad

- Melody and Aden's conversation at the clinic the day before Aden is released

- Morag saying goodbye to Aden

I know my choice is a bit Aden-heavy but hey I do love his character.

Thes first few episodes of 09 were fantasic so far - Jon was particually mindblowing and gave us some of the most memorable sceans for some time...

Tony taking Roman through the night Jack died

Tony eulogy at Jack's funeral, when he forced the truth out of martha and then fighting with Angelo

* Geoff and Aden scene in front of the church when Aden was trying to get Geoff to punch him

* Aden hitting Belle's car and asking her why she published a picture of his grandad in the paper

* Aden burning the paper outside the surf club

* Aden and Larry's fight about the abuse

* Nicole throwing herself at Aden then Aden runs away

* Aden and Belle sitting at the beach the night after the diner and den opening/Nicole's party

* Geoff confronting Axel in the den about what happened with Melody

* Aden and Nicole fight and Nicole runs off

* Gym scene with Aden punching the boxing bag and Nicole walk in and they fight

* Belle and Aden walking across the bench and Belle asks Aden if he is still into her as they haven't slept together

is when Aden was in court, and telling about his abuse, and he just locks eyes with Belle, and she's urging him on, supporting him - and he manages to say it... that was just fantastic acting - so realistic!

I had totally forgotten about this episode.

It was a very powerful performance by Todd Lasance. The best acting I have seen from him.

I think it was just the way he tried to fight back the tears when he was telling about his abuse that made it just heartbreaking

I though he did a good job in the abuse storyline, I liked the court case scenes, and I thought it was very well acted out from Todd Lasance, I hope he gets a Logie this year!

I liked the scene where they're siting on the beach, and Belle's like 'for the record if a girl goes to a party and leaves she's not interested" Then Aden says 'well you're still here arent you' Belle: watch this. Funny! Cute!

I actually loved the scene when Jack was dead at the hospital but he was speaking to Martha. It was just the saddest thing ever!!

I came up with a list and kept adding to it until it got to the point where it seemed to have enough mass to implode and turn into a black hole.(Don't know how scientifically accurate that is but it sounds funny.)So, in no particular order:

* Sally's farewell to Alf on the beach.Obviously.

* Sally's farewell speech at the schoool."I like to think that a part of me, maybe even the best part, will always be here."I'm welling up just thinking about it.

* Pippa finally convincing Cassie her and Henk were doomed.Just showed how much we'd missed her.

* Cassie and Mattie consoling Belle in her room after her break-up with Drew."When it's over, you know."

* Ric and Mattie on the beach after hearing about Cassie's diagnosis and her saying she's missed talking to him.

* Ric and Mattie heading back to her place after reuniting at the memorial.

* When Ric and Viv were at the hospital debating whether to try and save their baby and Mattie just told them to go for it.It really showed how mature and selfless she'd become and how tight she and Ric were.

* Ric and Mattie reuniting in Perth, when they were on their phones to each other and realised they were standing at opposite sides of the quad."Wherever you are, that's where I wanna be."The biggest Awwwww moment of the year.

* Sally ringing the department to resign when she was on the wharf with Miles.A moment of craziness that somehow managed to be uplifting.

* Geoff punching Aden!And even better, the scene afterwards when Aden came back to class and had to go past Geoff and he was genuinely worried he was going to trip him up.

* Nicole seeing Geoff for the first time and telling Aden he's hotter than him.He just looked so disappointed.

* Geoff going to see Belle in her room while she's trying to write the article about Sally and asking her advice on girls.A tiny scene that had me clamouring to see more of them together.

* The two scenes between Geoff and Belle after the OC, when she realises he slept with Nicole and when he offers to go with her to see Aden.(I have to grab my Gelle moments where I can, okay?You could also add her helping him work out about Aden and Nicole's bet and their scenes with Annie at Easter when she agreed to go to church with them.)

* Angelo putting Belle to bed after she got drinking and her muttering that she never seems to fall for nice guys.(Shame they went downhill pretty fast.)

* Geoff going to Nicole for "kissing lessons" and bringing a load of mates along.Because I never knew Geoff could be that sneaky!

* Geoff and Melody not quite kissing after their first date.So cute.

* Annie and Melody on the beach when she tells her about the assault and she just hugs her in silence. Even if the scene did suggest more happened than actually did.(You could also include the Melody/Axel scenes prior to that, when she's obviously scared of him and he doesn't understand, or want to understand, why, which were brilliantly acted by both of them.Shame the whole storyline just fizzled out after that.)

* Geoff and Melody playing pool at the surf club, when he says looking at her is putting him off.Their last moment of cuteness before it went downhill.(Although him staying in the bedroom with her when she arrived at Miles' was kinda cute.)

* Miles "hypnotising" Melody into forgetting their conversation after he realises he's contradicted Christine again.(And her reaction earlier in the episode when he says "Don't do anything Melody wouldn't do!"Even then she was bored of being a goody-goody.

* Annie meeting Ruby for the first time and being utterly bemused by her talk of her boyfriend keeping her up all night.Utter chalk and cheese, utterly right together.

* Jai and Annie's chat after the Halloween party, when they realise neither of them's ready for sex. Because it showed how mature and comfortable with each other they are compared to other relationships.And because it's their only decent material since the OC.

* Geoff telling Nicole he liked her on the beach and then repeating it at school.She just glowed.

* Miles and Kirsty's reunion outside the caravan when he says "I forgive you."So sweet.

* And, for all the wrong reasons, Sally's glimpse of the future with Annie in that "bad girl" outfit.The most unintentionally hilarious thing all year.

My absolute favourite, & one I watch over and over is the rainy beach scene between Aden and Belle after his release from the clinic. I don't even know why....I suppose after all the madness and drama that had gone before, it was just a really nice, normal, realistic scene.

I also love the scene in the clinic between Aden and his councilor (sp?) when he realises what he had done to his dad was wrong, and that Larry couldn't help himself either. Todd's acting was brilliant in that one.

I'm sure I have other Aden related ones! I kinda like them all!
