Oh, this thread is more popular than I fought it would be. Woop woop!

I would love to see plans of all the houses in Summer Bay, then that would settle everything once and for all.

I don't think Irene's place is quite as regimented by age:Nick slept in both of the downstairs rooms while Hayley was there and Chloe always slept upstairs, Joey moved straight into that room when Selina left.Hayley didn't get the "penthouse suite" until much later after her and Noah's old place burnt down.Tasha, I think, had to give it up when Kane and Kirsty moved in but anyway Kit was living there and she was older than her.And I think Belle moved straight into that room even though Kim was there at the time.

I should have said usually instead of always. But traditionally, that room does go to the eldest or longest living with Irene. I'm almost certain I remember Chloe sleeping in the other downstairs bedroom(Geoff's current bedroom). Remember after she was raped? They showed her in a traumatised state in that room.

Are you sure?I don't remember that at all.I'm pretty sure when she slept with Lachie and got pregnant they went upstairs. You might be right but she definitely never slept in that other room.It was always either Selina or Joey in there.

I was wrong about Belle as well, she was upstairs when she first arrived, Robbie and Tasha were still living there.

Who has actually had the main bedroom at the Beach House? Am I right in thinking it was Adam, Sam, Selina, Joey, Will (Gypsy & Lilly), Nick, Kirsty & Kane, Hayley (Kim/Scott & Noah), Tasha & Robbie, Belle.

Was there anyone else? Did Kit stay in that room?

The bedroom at the end of Irene's stairs just appeared out of nowhere! If I remember correctly, there wasn't even a door there when the Beach House was first introduced!!

I think the bedrooms in Summer Bay House just tie in with the story, ie whataver the writers decide at the time! When the Fletchers first arrived, Tom and Pippa would have shared one, Lyn and Carly the second, Frank and Steven the third and Sally probably had her own room making four rooms. Fastforward eighteen years to 2006, Sally in the main room, Alf in the second, Morag in the third, Cassie and Martha in the fourth and Pippa in a possible fifth bedroom. There is also a big bathroom upstairs here but it's a pretty big house so that's believeable.

The most unrealistic I think would be Roman's. Last year saw him, Morag, Nicole and Aden all sharing but surely a little townhouse like that couldn't have four bedrooms, unless Morag and Roman were sharing :P

I'm pretty certain that Chloe was in the downstairs bedroom, at least during the time she was raped. I was very young then so my memory could be wrong!

I won't bother listing all the bedrooms I think each house has because everybody else has done so and I don't really think I have anything new to add.

Can I just say, I officially LOVE this thread! I'm obsessed with houses and everything to do with them. I've wondered more than once before about the layout of the Summer Bay houses (the bits we don't really get to see). I've even made a "Summer Bay" neighbourhood in the Sims2 with my own versions of all the main houses (including ones not there anymore, like the Palace). But I'm going to stop now before anybody tells me to get a life :-p

I think that's pretty much it, yeah. Was Tug in that room at one point, after Sam and before Selina?I think Tasha had two spells in there, she was there before Kane and Kirsty moved in but then she was suddenly upstairs.Kit was always upstairs, I think, or possibly in the other downstairs bedroom.

I remember that it was Sam's room still when Irene bought the house because he didn't want to leave it. Did Tug stay on for a while after it was sold?

Scented_Lies I haven't made the houses on the sims 2 before but I have had my own town called Summer Bay with a lot of the characters living there. I can't wait for the sims 3.

How many bedrooms did the palace have then?
