Zetti Posted January 15, 2009 Report Posted January 15, 2009 You have to be invited, so ask someone with invites,
jdoddy Posted January 15, 2009 Report Posted January 15, 2009 ^^Eh... I'm confused with what you're saying. Are we not saying the same thing?? I meant instead of watching bad quality on youtube at Aus pace, watch good quality full episodes from Diwana (or on here) at Aus pace instead. Isn't that what you're planning to do anyway? Yeah - I quoted the wrong person's post. and this is the first season i have been signed up for Diwana I was meant to say that if all the channels broadcasted episodes at the same pace us internet downloaders would lose the spark you get knowing you are ahead of the rest of the country
Anaya Posted January 15, 2009 Report Posted January 15, 2009 Okay... I get you now. I just got a little confused with your post, as it didn't quite match up to mine that you quoted. As in we were both saying the same thing. I agree that us downloaders getting to watch it first is quite cool. But tbh I'd be fine with them showing it same as Aus pace on five. As it means we all move along with storylines at the same pace & it saves time not having to download.
Ryan Posted January 15, 2009 Report Posted January 15, 2009 The 2000 season does come back later than most, the show was struggling at that point and I actually believe two weeks might have been cut for financial reasons, though I might just be talking rubbish. I think it would be great however if next January, both countries could watch the finale "on the same day"
Lesley Bee Posted January 15, 2009 Report Posted January 15, 2009 2 weeks!!!! i remember a time when it was a year or more
-Kevin- Posted January 16, 2009 Report Posted January 16, 2009 You can just download the episodes from Diwana or from here in the Episodes section, at Aus pace. Instead of watching them on youtube. That way you still get to keep up with Aus pace & the quality's just as good as catching them on tv. Thanks - how do I sign up for Diwana? I have invites to Diwana if you are interested ? Yeah i couldnt live without Diwana to eb honest. The episodes are very high quality although now you can watch high quality episodes on youtube on fullscreen that fills the entire screen
-Kevin- Posted January 16, 2009 Report Posted January 16, 2009 Yeah it is. I was thinking about watching it on TV when it returns here and not YouTube but I don't think I can wait that long. I know I wouldn't be able to help my self but go on YouTube the moment I turn the computer on But if people watch it on YouTube then they might as well put it on the tv same pace as then people will enjoy it more. There not losing anything if its the same pace. Go on this users youtube page and watch an episode in full screen and you will see that the quality and the screen size is brilliant and actually fits the whole screen. watch the finale in high quality and fitted to screen on youtube on : http://www.youtube.com/user/isadora66
James Martin Posted January 16, 2009 Report Posted January 16, 2009 The smallest UK-AUS gap was 4 days, on ITV in 2000. I imagine we'll take four weeks off in summer, two weeks Christmas and then the Bank Holidays to make up the numbers.
Marc EH Posted January 17, 2009 Report Posted January 17, 2009 You can just download the episodes from Diwana or from here in the Episodes section, at Aus pace. Instead of watching them on youtube. I will PM you.
Izzy H Posted January 18, 2009 Report Posted January 18, 2009 I like the fact that the UK will only be 2 weeks behind Australia now. I am just wondering how long it will last though. Am I right in thinking that Home and Away in Aus normally takes a break when the tennis is on each year?
