:) religion is just part of my life; but not my whole life, if that makes sense. It's kids from all over ireland, and tutors from all over ireland. i'd link you to the website but it's under construction atm.

I agree about Geoff, and his path to priesthood, it seems like that has slipped on the wayside, although i'm glad he's been "converted" [probably a bad word to use :P] from his single sighted-ness, like when he was convinced that Cassie must have done something bad and wrong in order to get HIV, that was shockingly - well, shocking I guess!

Agree too about Annie, the way she spouts off now and then, it's pure like a child who's had something drilled into them, and they dont even know why they do it, but do because it's what they've been taught!

Hopefully this year, we will have a chance to see Geoff's path to priesthood develop further. It was good to see Geoff being able to learn the truth about so many things that his grandfather had kept from him, and I know that the life experiences he has had in the bay have changed him into a well liked and respected character.

I also think that Annie needs to decide if she wants to commit her life to the lord, because I think that she seems a little lost as to what is the best direction for her.

Yep. and thats sometimes true about religious people.

I wanted Geoff & Annie to stick with their religion.

But, Geoff is no longer becoming a priest, he also sleeps around (well, sorta!)

And, although Annie wont sleep with Jai, its becoming more of a case that she isnt ready, as opposed to not wanting to until she is married!

I have to say though, anyone who calls Geoff and especially Annie hypocritical really needs to look up what the word means.Throw a stone at the characters and you'd hit half a dozen that are more hypocritical than them.

However, in calling Geoff and Annie hypocritical, aren't you too being hypocritical since everybody, including yourself, is hypocritical to some extent? Something to ponder...

Anyway, I think Christianity can be seen as non-believers as a very black and white subject. "You believe this, and you don't believe that." "The Bible says this so you must believe it." Little do they know that the Bible provides Christians with a GUIDE to lead their life. It isn't an instruction manual that, when not abided by, will result in your life falling a part. I believe the main message in the Bible is that, by accepting Christ as the son of God and repenting your sins, you will go to Heaven. Everything else are just things that we need to consider in terms of what is sin in God's eyes, and what isn't. To be perfectly honest, I am agnostic. I am working towards making that "leap of faith." I do, however, abide by many of the Bible's teachings because I believe them to be morally correct and appropriate in terms of the values that they teach.
