It is sooo amazing I thought Stockholm syndrome was good and couldn't be matched but this more then does it! The tension you build in your writing is amazing I literally gasp out loud at parts of the story like in when belle was revealed as jamie's mum and the whole father who abuses him. I can't wait for the next chapter, Amazing!!

Thank you to everyone else who has replied too. I know some of you take the time to reply to every chapter and that really means a lot. Belle didn't mean what she said, it just came out because she was angry and I tried to portray how awful she instantly felt, I hope it came across. I promise as well that this was the last "Let me see my son", "You're not going anywhere near him" chapter as I realise that will start to get tiring. There will be big developments next chapter.

Still got at least one foot in Kirsty's corner.She should have kept a better eye on Jamie but I don't blame her for the way she spoke to him.As Belle herself said, not every stranger he gets chatting to is going to turn out to be his mother and Kirsty needed to impress that on him. And whether she meant it or not, that was absolutely the worst thing Belle could have said to Aden.

I couldn't agree more, I wasn't defending it just explaining it. It was the worst thing possible she could ever have said which is why she feels so bad.

I really liked Kirsty and Aden's reactions to this, and i gasped and raised my hands to my mouth when Belle said that! I get that she didn't mean it and i'm glad you put it in the chapter, but it was OMG worthy and really horrible of her! I have this feeling that her life back home is not all Aden thinks it is, (not just because she keeps trying to tell him that, but cos it feels like she's hiding something, lol) I was just wondering, if Aden remarried then wouldn't he and Belle have had to get a divorce meaning that they would have had some kind of contact since she left, although i know that if she disappeared for long enough he probably wouldn't have needed her permission anyway... Anywho, great chapter as always! Absolutely loved it! Please update soon! I can't wait!

How they ended up getting divorced is going to be in the next chapter but they haven't actually spoken at all since she left. That line was meant to be OMG worthy and I agree it was horrible. I loved how you wrote the Aden, Belle scene. As soon as she said that though I cringed. I just hope he knows she didn't mean it!! Great Chapter. More pleaseee ?
SAM27# Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 Woah what a chapter!! The Jamie and Belle meeting was so cute, but poor Jamie thinking his mother is dead!! It was definately an OMG I can't believe she said that moment when Belle accused Aden of abusing Jamie, I can't believe she stooped that low but I suppose desperation can cause people to do and say horrible things!! The way you describe Aden's anger and the intensity between the two is so realistic and has me sitting on the edge of my seat!! Roman is so sweet, his protectiveness over Belle despite what she did..awww so nice!! I don't know how to take Kirsty, I can understand her feeling threatened and angry at Belle but I am such an Adelle fan that I want to hate her but I know it's not her fault....Also I am very curious to what happened to Kane, is he still in jail?? As I cannot recall Kirsty or Kane being mentioned in the first fic!! Can't wait for more!!!!! You are doing such an awesome job Louise_2983..I love this fic!!

I loved the interaction between Belle and Jamie, and the fight between Belle and Aden was heartbreaking, but amazing writing all the same. I could so see that if they ever got into this position that is the kind of thing that would happen because they are both so feisty and have the tendenancy to say things in anger before thinking them over. What Belle said to Aden was so horrible, but some of the things that he said to her were nasty too. They are both guilty in this situation, I get why Aden is angry, but he was throwing around insults left, right and centre too so its not like he's being the perfect father. I'm really enjoying this and looking forward to seeing where it goes.
