I have to say if there going to show an episode why cut it thats stupid as an awful lot of people have seen the origanal it spoiles the paticular ep because your waiting for a scene to come up but instead they go to a break, Nice one Fiver why bother showing any at all. :(

What does the SR, G and D stand for?

I've sort of got Series Recurring, Guest, but can't work out what D means. Perhaps to differentiate a one episode guest from a multi-episode guest. Dingbat?

Maybe it stands for Debut, a character who either hasn't been seen before or hasn't been seen for a while.

These were scenes cut out from the original script, and were gone before it aired on Seven.

I think was almost all TV shows they film and script more than the slot they've given, so if there's a problem with some of the content not working, they cut it down to it's right time as opposed to having 20 minutes, finding out you've got 2 minutes of rubbish and then only having 18 minutes worth of show.

But episode 4000nd Alfs Birthday was shown in its entirity when first shown so why should they cut it showing again, I tell you why so they cn get there flippin revinue from the adverts and the sponsers of J=Home and Away in the uk all hLF HOUR PROGRAMES IN THE UK HAVE ONE break now they decide to chop Home and Away up into three peices, they should be ashamed of them selves.

According to what Slade has wrote, this showing of Episode 4000 is the complete episode, the December 2005 showing had Ric's tosser line cut.

The scenes that Dan has typed up are from the original script, that is what the cast work with because BTTB were sent a copy of the script (I believe it was a prize in a competition). The scenes may have been filmed, but they have never made the final edit of any aired edition of the programme. So Five didn't cut them, the makers of the programme cut them because they didn't think they helped the episode.
