This looks good!

I wish they would put back on Home & Away - the Early Years again, as a regular thing, instead of the same episode several times a day. I was really getting into it before, especially as we didn't have a tv between Sep 1998 to Spring 2004! A lot of those episodes were my 1st time of seeing them & I miss being able to catch up regularly on the old episodes. Still plenty to watch or record over the Christmas period hopefully!

^So do I. I was really getting into it and they stopped just before last Christmas (I think). Then I think they said they weren’t go to be resuming it at this present time (or something like that). It’s a shame as well because for me my favourite period of Home and Away was 2001-2004. With Five/Fiver now showing Neighbours I think it’s unlikely that they will rebroadcast it.

Bright side - Because we are now getting so close the Australian pace again they will probably make the Christmas break a bit longer so we might get to see more older episodes like today although they have got to stop showing anything less than 3 years old.

How fantastic was it to see those episodes again?! The novelty of seeing the show in London was great :D.

I'd forgotten how much I loved Marilyn. She was such a fantastic character - bubbly, a bit ditzy, and very warm and genuine. The Bay was better for having her in it :D. And Flynn too. He was brilliant. I don't know about anyone else but watching the episodes today, it made me realize how he changed when Joel McIlroy stepped in. I don't mean that in a bad way, though. I just think Joel played him differently, maybe in a more serious way.

I had to laugh when Hayley said to Robbie, "Summer Bay makes you want to get out of bed in the morning". Really now? Stalkers, murderers, more illnesses than you can shake a stick at, explosions, car crashes, natural disasters, building collapses etc. etc. - they inspire you to get up everyday, Hayles? :P

Yes for all the sun, sea, sand and attractive people i.e. all the reasons why you would want to live there, let’s not forget that it is an extremely dangerous place.

I think those episodes were already shown on The Early Years. Anyway I’m sure that presentation took somewhere in the city but when Fisher was chasing Marylyn they appeared to end up in West Finchley (North East London) before he’d even got on a train.

That guy that worked at the Hotel did my head in. Why, oh why when foreign shows have a British person on they feel that have to over emphasise their accents? It was so irritating.

I guess this marked the beginning of the end for Dani and Will’s relationship. It’s a shame we probably won’t get to see the episode where she actually goes round to Gypsy’s and accidentally hears Will’s message on the answer machine.

It was so funny the evil looks Kirsty was giving Simone. God she looked so young back then. At the time, who could have foreseen that in less than 4 years she would be, married pregnant and driving off into the Sunset with Kane Philips.

Shameless cameo in that episode:The woman who asks for Don Fisher's autograph is the soap critic for This Morning.Or possibly GMTV.One of those ITV early mornings things.Tina someone.

You know the thing that always bugged me about that slave auction storyline?Simone never got to have her day with Seb.Jude ended up in hospital and Kirsty made her feel guilty so she dropped it.And then she ended up disappearing from the show after they all told her they really really wanted to still be friends with her.
