While there's no Home and Away on Five, Fiver will be showing Home and Away - Back To The Bay. It will be a season of episodes celebrating past characters returning to the bay.

It starts on Fiver at 10am - 11am and repeated at 6pm - 7pm from Monday 22nd December.

When I read the title I assumed they were re-showing the mini documentaries from 2000, and thought....okkkaaaay, how random. But good, reunions are the best :D

If it's from 10am-11am, that's just two episodes, or am I reading it wrong?....

Edit: Oh is it a daily thing?...

Hopefully the Mirigini Episodes, Sally's 2 weddings and episode 4000 feature........and since five are pretty vague with their choices, the 2004 finale aswell..Lance returned for that....and it's a christmas episode.

Knowing fiver there will be two episode from above and six featuring Alex's return in 2007

Home and Away: Back to the Bay

Monday 22 Dec–Friday 26 Dec, 18.00–19.00

Monday 29 Dec–Friday 2 Jan, 18.00–19.00

Having graced our screens for 20 years, Home and Away only seems to get bigger and better. We all have our favourite characters, whether they were the evil villains, the heroes or those that made us laugh. And now, as we all curl up on the sofa over the festive holidays, we can revisit those characters as they return to the Bay and to our screens.

As the longest-running character in Home and Away, Alf Stewart has seen friends, family and enemies come and go, causing mischief and mayhem as they visit the town of Summer Bay. Jesse McGregor is one such friend/enemy, who comes back to town after spending time in prison for robbery. The response to his reappearance is mixed: Alf, who should probably chase him out of town carrying a burning torch, welcomes Jesse with open arms. But Alex doesn’t trust the ex-con, and he may be right after Noah sees a much darker side to Jesse’s character.

But as Alf got older so his group of friends and family grew and, as we see over the Christmas period, he is much loved by many a past resident. Ric, Cassie, Martha and Sally busily prepare a surprise party for Alf, and invite just about everyone from his past. Among the party guests are Sam, Will and Duncan, as well as Summer Bay veteran Pippa, who returns for a heartfelt reunion with Sally. But not everything is rosy for the reunited friends as Chloe’s past catches up with her. A trip into Yabbie Creek ends with a catastrophic car accident that leaves Martha fighting for her life, and an unexpected death for another character.

But death may not be the end for residents of Summer Bay, as Alf soon discovers when he starts seeing his long-dead wife Ailsa. Believing her to be as real as he is, he begins to talk to her in front of others. His friends, including Donald Fisher, are concerned for Alf’s sanity, but nothing they say can persuade him that Ailsa isn’t real. But it seems that Ailsa has a mission of her own as Alf collapses from a brain tumour. While doctors fight to save his life, Ailsa shows Alf what life in Summer Bay would have been like without him, and gives him a choice of whether to live or die.

I will post more information on the main site once I've collated all the episode information together! Seems a nice mix though!

I hate living in Ireland!!!

Although I hope someone records and uploads the episodes!

They sound like a nice mix although I dont like the sound of a few of them being from 2008.

Great! I have a Freeview recorder that allows me to record to hard disk but I have no way of transferring episodes over to my PC. I bought a USB TV card for my machine but the reception in my bedroom was so bad I couldn’t even see one channel.
