Now Two Ad Breaks In TV Shows? Is This Allowed?

They probably won't. However, on the flip-side, I like the way they can go straight from one programme to another as a result by having both sets of breaks within the programme.

I wouldn't be adverse to seeing this done over on Five, where I feel they're still having a problem keeping the Neighbours audience hooked on for Home & Away.

What really pisses me off though is the glaring absence of Demand Five from Virgin Media. When iPlayer, ITV Net Player and 4oD are all on there, it feels like a bit of an own goal.

I really hope they don't do it on Channel 5(and thankfully they can't at the moment).I actually find the switching between programmes rather off-putting, I'm having my spare moments at the wrong time, and it doesn't help if you only want to watch one programme.

Im quite liking the two ad breaks during the half hour, which makes the show finish to the full hour, therefore not waiting a moment for the next show to be on, ie Neighbours at 7.

Just watched H&A & Neighbours on tonight on Fiver from 6:30pm (and 7:00pm for Neighbours) and I was surprised to see it had 2 ad breaks in between the episodes!!! For a 22 minute programme to have 2 ad breaks is a joke!!

Its annoying!

How long has this been going on for? How long until more and more channels adopt this approach?

since it changed to five3r

I've grown to like the two ad breaks now, so it doesn't bother me as much

I noticed that while watching the first episode from yesterday this morning while I was getting ready for work. Headf*ck. It must've bypassed me for all of last week, though.
