I despise Tachel as a couple. They were born out of desperation and loneliness, two people who aren't suited to each other deluding themselves into thinking they are happy because they aren't single any more. If you can't be happy with yourself on your own, how can you ever be happy in a relationship??? Tony proposing after 5 seconds was pathetic. The sad thing is individually they are quite good characters. Tony is likeable in a bland sort of way, and Rachel is amazing at times, although she has the potential to be pretty awful as well.

It's interesting that you say that because I think that applies even more to Aden and Belle. All of Belle's friends left town within a few months leaving her completely isolated, Aden put his only friend in hospital and suddenly they were left stuck in the Diner together with no-one else to talk to.If they'd had any other options, they probably wouldn't have got together.

But they did have other options, or at least Aden did. From the way I remember it Nicole was pretty much offering herself to him on a plate at that point and was really jealous when he initially started seeing Belle.

True.Mind you, by the same token, Rachel had Roman as an alternative. There really wasn't anyone else for Belle.(Which is probably why Aden abruptly went from liking Nicole to liking her.)I think Aden pretty much decided he'd burnt his bridges with Nicole when she came onto him and he freaked out, he was too embarrassed to contemplate going there again.

But then he went one step further and majorly freaked out with Belle and called her a skank. That was a lot worse than what happened with Nicole and yet he actually faced up to and explained to her why it happened which for me says that what there is between Aden and Belle is real and that Aden isn't just with her because he "burnt all his bridges elsewhere".

I don't think he was embarassed about going there again. He clearly had a choice between Nic and Belle. Nic who was obviously throwing herself at him and Belle who was playing hard to get. He clearly went for the better option . Aden felt something for Belle that he didn't feel with Nic otherwise he would of made an effort to explain his past to Nic which he did with Belle. It's all there man and its def beautiful to watch.

I have always thought that even if Nicole and Aden were paired up, it would have never worked the way Belle and Aden have. I think from the beginning, Nicole was the one who was pushing for a relashinship with him but i don't think Aden ever had any feeling for her, he might have liked her for a bit but i think that was it.

Where as with Belle the relashinship progressed at a slow pace with a lot of believable chemistry between them. Aden still had a choice if he wanted Nicole but instead stood her up to be with Belle.

I don't think that Aden was too embarrassed to be with Nicole, I think that she scared him and the idea of being with someone as in control of a sexual situation as she was continued to scare him. She was forceful and dominant with him, and that is obviously not something that he would be looking for. Belle had a much gentler, coaxing approach to pursuing him. He only freaked out with her when he felt like she was starting to pressure him for sex the way that Nicole had been.

Nicole and Aden were purely physical - it was a shallow, immature attraction that was based on the expectation that two pretty young teenagers alone in a house should get up to something naughty. Nicole only wanted it for the shock value of being a bad girl, and Aden was still trying to live up to his bad-boy image and the "You know you want me" false-bravado that we all know and love. Nicole was never a real option for a relationship, the best he would ever get with her would be "friends with benefits," except to Aden, at the time, "benefits" had nothing beneficial about them. So all Nicole really could offer him was traumatic flashbacks and extreme mental anguish. Yay! Belle, on the other hand, actually took an interest in who he was as a person, and why he acted the way he did, and that gave him the confidence to trust that she would actually care about him and want to be with him for some other reason than sex, which he wasn't prepared to offer her right away. It was all very complex and engaging.

Rachel and Tony... "Oh, my long-term girlfriend's dead." "Oh, my husband left me." "Hey, you're single and you live next door to me!" "And you live next door to me!" "Wanna go out some time? :o" "Okay! :o" Ugh.

The horrendous thing is, Tony really did have another option, a luscious, gorgeous, beautiful, brilliant option. Jazz. Just because she practically poisoned his girlfriend and seriously considered raping him, jeez. Picky, aren't we??

^^But that's what happens in real life. Circumstances bring people together. You can't help who you fall in love with. The best relationships tend to come out of friendships and thats what happened with Tony and Rachel.

Tony and Jazz were fun. But he didn't love her, so what would have been the point.

Initially I said Adelle by miles but I’ve since changed my mind and I’m now so sick and tired of this couple that I just want to see an end to them. Period. I actually don’t mind both characters individually (I haven’t liked Belle over the last few weeks but am slightly starting to feel a bit sympathetic towards her). As I don’t particularly like Tachel, now I would have to go for neither. My biggest worry with Tachel is that I’m dreading the stuff with the baby and in a few months they will be where Adelle were previously. Admittedly not in terms of the breaking up but certainly with respect to the fact they will be constantly rubbed in our faces. Oh and I agree with an earlier comment about Rachel wearing the trousers in that relationship too.

Tachel is boring, no communication, no real chemistry. I can't stand them.

I love adelle as you all know.

I cant understand how you can say Tachel have no communication yet love Adelle (the people who have the worst communication I've ever seen)
