x__briiahh Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 Hey. I'm not entirely sure if this is right place or not, but I wanted to ask a question. I decided to go look on eBay for a Lincoln Lewis autograph. Only one result came up but I wanted to know if this was genuine or not. Wether it's actually his autograph or what. Has anyone actually seen his autograph?? And if you have can you tell me if this is it. I wanted to know because I've never actually seen his signature & the description and everything is very brief. ;) This is the link to the item: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/HOME-AND-AWAY-FAN-C...id=p3286.c0.m14 Please let me know, and if this is in the wrong section, feel free to move it mods. Thanks in advance. xxxx
Symphony Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 I don't know if it's his or not, but as far as I do know, Lincoln does send back fan cards signed if you write to him - so maybe that might be a safer option?
x__briiahh Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 Yeah that's what my mum suggested. But I wasn't sure if he sent back. Thanks Symphony. x
Symphony Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 No worries Or, you could always give a shot at sending Lincoln a message on facebook, asking him if that's his autograph - you never know, he might reply
TachelHolden Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 i don't think its his i would go with the safer option and write to him
Dan F Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 It states on the listing that it is pre-printed anyway (in other words, its not a real signature, just one which was printed on the card by Seven when they made them). Buying fancards on eBay is a waste of time and money as you can get them for free (well the cost of a stamp) by just writing to the cast in person. If you specifically ask them to make out the signature to a specific person, then you can be almost sure that you'll get a proper autograph as opposed to pre-printed. Even if they don't have time to sign them personally, you'll still get a standard fancard - certainly better than spending $15 for one on eBay. Of course it will take considerably longer, but you'll get more satisfaction from knowing it was sent to you personally.
x__briiahh Posted October 29, 2008 Report Posted October 29, 2008 Thankyou Charlene & Dan. I've decided to write to him and see what happens. xxxx
