I really enjoyed the episodes with Rocco in. Unfortunately I didn’t actually get to see any of Rocco the first time round but I thought he was a pretty good character. I had already seen the stuff with Rachel, Kim and Charlie and with Macca and Cassie. The only other thing I didn’t see was Corrie poisoning Irene. I think they were in the first episodes show this afternoon (which I recorded on my freeview box but haven’t fully watched yet). Am I going mad or did they show the poisoning episodes twice (i.e. the second time round in the evening)?

How did you miss him? He was hot!!!! Always had a soft spot for him!

No your not going mad they did repeat a few episodes again!

I am glad because I missed a few at the beginning

Well believe or not I actually stopped watching Home and Away for an entire year prior to that (2005-2006). This was because I got a new job and I simply didn’t have to time to watch it. During the time with Rocco my freeview box was on the blink so I couldn’t even watch the omnibus on weekends. The first time I actually even heard about him was when they found him dead and Ric was framed for his murder. It’s a shame because like I said as soon as I saw him I knew straight away that he was a good character. I thought Johnny was a good character as well. An excellent bad guy. I’m really into Home and Away at the moment and never miss an episode. Even if I do you can now download most recent episodes of the net anyway.

If I ever miss an episode and the omnibus, I ask a mate what ep number we are on and go and watch on youtube!

I watch the fiver eps and my dad watches five eps, so if we catch the omnibus he gets annoyed because on the monday he gets annoyed because he realises he has seen it :D

Perhaps a mod could turn this thread into a specials alert thread.Heads up on another special, although I have no idea what the special is about. If someone could figure out episode numbers that would be good

Sunday 7th December - FIVER

12:00pm

Dani is furious when she discovers the truth about Josh's past after his father comes to visit. Meanwhile, Shelley is sceptical when Kirsty announces she's looking for a job. Vinnie and Leah prepare for Vinnie's day in court, but then Vinnie disappears.

12:30pm

It is the day after Vinnie's court case and Leah wakes from a dream where Vinnie was freed. Unfortunately, the truth is far from happy as Leah looks back on the real court case.

1:00pm

Brodie decides that now is the time to take the next step in her relationship with Mav. Flynn must give a statement to Carter about the incident between Jesse and Jason in the caravan park, but will he tell the truth? Charlotte's friends all gather to wish her well as she prepares to leave Summer Bay. But her plans for the future may be in tatters when a last swim in the ocean turns into a fight for survival.

1:30pm

With no defibrilator on hand, Charlotte's friends must wait for an ambulance as she lies lifeless on the beach. Meanwhile, an accident involving Nick, a school laptop and a milkshake may mean that Jason will be imprisoned for theft.

2:00pm

Charlotte loses her fight for survival as her friends gather around to say goodbye. But with her passing, Jade feels she has lost her faith in a God who would let someone like Charlotte die. Meanwhile, Max is angry that Rhys didn't let him say goodbye to Charlotte.

2:30pm

Nick is excited about taking part in the reality show 'The Dorm', but his first day doesn't go as well as he had hoped. Sally finally manages to persuade Colleen to get her lump checked out by a doctor, but although Colleen puts on a brave face, she is terrified. Jade and Kirsty are angry when they see Beth and Rhys throwing out some of Shelley's belongings.

3:00pm

Flynn is concerned when Colleen decides to have her lump treated using home remedies and not the medical treatment Flynn suggests. After his humiliation on national television, Nick is ready to give up the competition. Can Jade persuade him otherwise? Alf is excited when Scott tells him the boat has been chartered for a small fishing group. But the pair find themselves in danger when they discover who the customers really are.

3:30pm

Leah is offered a very lucrative deal for her great grandmother's cookie recipe, but will she take the offer? While Scott and Alf are at loggerheads over the charter business, Dani is upset when Scott says no to a romantic evening. Nick flirts with Courtney, but panics when she turns up in his bed.

4:00pm

Colleen is determined to carry on with her home remedies, even though they are making her feel very ill. Can Max change her mind? Jesse wants to enrol in a business management course, but he's disheartened to find Leah wants to travel overseas. Rhys is suspicious when he sees Kirsty leaving Flynn's surgery.

4:30pm

Leah is rushed to hospital when Dan finds her collapsed on the floor. Everyone is relieved when Leah seems to be OK, but what about her unborn child? Tasha receives help from an unexpected source as Jonah receives a terrible and painful punishment from The Believers. Meanwhile, the kid's plans for a party could be ruined when Alf interferes.

5:00pm

Instead of leaving The Believers' farm, Tasha goes back to rescue Josh, who has been tied to a tree. However, they are soon surrounded by very angry Believers. Will help arrive in time? Meanwhile, Jack becomes suspicious of Peter after finding some incriminating files and overhearing a phone call. Leah and Dan return from the hospital devastated by the loss of their baby.

5:30pm

Kim and Rachel's marriage seems irreparably damaged, while Brad's negligence results in an unwelcome surprise for Colleen. Alf defies his driving ban, with dangerous consequences.

6:00pm

Kim is forced to make a choice between continuing with his wife Rachel, or resuming his relationship with Kit. Alf attends an eye test, but is disappointed with the results, and Cassie is thrilled to land a new job, even if it is just a two-week trial.

6:30pm

Drew and Belle plan to drive Jazz out of Summer Bay once and for all by messing with her home's fusebox, but Jazz's life is placed in jeopardy when their scheming gets out of hand. Jack mulls over the consequences of coming clean about the missing evidence. Leah plans a spicy surprise for the returning Dan, only to be left feeling hugely embarrassed when he arrives with a group of students in tow.

Again I will say that if my Freeview hold up (hope there is no rain on the day) I will try and upload these episodes in high quality.

Well rather strangely, the specials are grouped under the title 'From Home and Away to Hollywood'

If all the exciting events in this week’s Home

and Away were not enough, don’t miss out on

Sunday afternoon’s special ‘From Home and Away

to Hollywood’, which features the likes of Ada

Nicodemou and Isabel Lucas before they made it

big in Tinseltown.

Ada's big in tinseltown, you learn something new every day....one would presume they meant Ryan Kwanten

What the last episode has to do with theme I do not know....

Well this certainly sounds like one of the better specials. The theme is probably the most terrible they've ever done, but the episodes are ok.....until 4:30 ofcourse.

I look forward to watching Vinnie's exit, Charlotte's death and Colleen's cancer again, Nick in 'the dorm' and Leahs cookie recipe however....:P

Hopefully there are more of these, since its off for a few weeks......

Hehe. :P Well she was in The Matrix (for something like a split second) maybe that constitutes her 'being big in Hollywood'. Although it wasn't even filmed in Hollywood, let alone US soil. LOL!

As for that last episode, I agree with you, who's the hollywood legend in that one??! Unless it's Ada again. :P

Oh brilliant. Episodes from 2002, which was one of my favourite years in Home and Away and will hopefully make up for the abrupt end they brought to the Early Years. These episodes already look better than the summer breaks ones. I can’t wait.
