When kirsty and Jade first arrived in Summer Bay there was a huge deal made about how, as twins, kirsty and jade always knew what the other was thinking. like when they took a test at school and got exactly the same answers. they had the 'twin' intuition and knew when the other was in trouble. Seems they forgot that when they decided they weren't really twins after all! This storyline really annoys me too! One of the biggest things that bothered me was I think a cliffhanger one year, when they had a mudslide and Jade was trapped inside a house (I can't remember which one), and Kirsty just KNEW exactly where in the house to search for Jade because of her 'twin intuition'. I think the media even got involved afterwords. And then all of a sudden they're not even twins? The whole Laura storyline was one of the worst IMO.

Obviously they wanted to write Jade out of the show but they could have done it in a much better way than that. They could have simply made Jade leave to go and spend more time with Shelly, to try and rectify things as obviously Jade felt that Shelly abandoned her when she left Rhys. As Jade was going out with Seb at the time, rather than doing this whole car falling off the cliff thing (indecently how she survived I will never know) she could have simply left with Seb to get away from the house. I remember Jade wanted to move out anyway as she felt trapped when the Hunters started moving in.

tmg Posted November 2, 2008 Report Posted November 2, 2008 I would like Kirsty to pop down to the city with Ollie to visit her parents, and when she comes back from visiting them she can make a comment like "and that's the reason I haven't bothered with them for 3 years, they drive me crazy" Also, it would be good if Kirsty could mention Jade, even briefly, like if Miles walks into the room and Kirsty's hanging up the phone and Miles is like "who were you gasbagging to for so long on the phone, and she can say, oh just catching up with Jade, she is sending her love to Ollie" For the sake of 15 seconds it would make the audience happy!!!
