I'm watching the dvd again now.

and, much as i hate to go back on my words ....

... the movie has finally worked its magic on me

A friend has just emailed me this

a few spoilers for the upcoming and intensely anticipated New Moon, and it seems there will be some vast differences between the book and the film.

Apparently, Bella takes a more daredevil approach in the film, pushing fate in order to make Edward appear to her.

Filmmakers couldn't resist Robert Pattinson's draw, and instead of coming to Bell as a disembodied voice, he appears like an apparition…or like Obi-Wan Kenobi in Star Wars. To which Pattinson expresses some concern, saying, "I really wanted it to be a complete absence. It’s easier to give it more power at the end if I’m completely absent."

There's also an action-packed scene wherein Laurent fights back against the werewolves who destroy him in the book.

Additionally, in the book Edward says he will turn Bella into a vampire only if they marry. In the movie, however, he offers a different ultimatum.

I for one am NOT happy.

I like the idea of an apparition, Just so we'll have more of him in, however I do think he's right that it will ahve more of an inpact with him not being in.

Looking forward to the fight scene with Laurent anf the Werewolves, that should be awsome as we don't get to see much of it during the book and the last bit has really annoyed me. How dare they change that bit in the book and I can't believe Steph had agreed to it. I knew they'd change my favourite bit in the book, the most important moment I was really looking forward too and they go and change it. When I see some of the cast in October were going to have words! lol

Whatever the new ultimatum is, it will be know where near as good as getting married! Any idea's what it could be, as I don't!

I was going to ask for a source for where your friend got that email from anyway xD If they didn't have marraige .. that would have way too many domino effects on the series as a movie!

It's a supposed leak of an early draft of the script. Either that or someone spent time writing a 150 odd page fake....

I have it, read some of it, had to go out and haven't bothered reading the rest. I'm not sure if i want to be that spoiled

Rob announced in Cannes that Breaking Dawn will be made into a movie.

Wow that movies going to be intense! I wonder if

they will show the mutant babies birth!

Entertainment weekly have printed the first two movie stills from New Moon in their latest mag. One is of Bella and Edward about to kiss, and the other is Bella and Laurent. And i believe that the other shot is from Bella's birthday.

It's not big, but it's better than nothing.

that's weird then - because the thing about 'no marraige proposal' is on a website, but the fact taht people have scripts sort of double crosses that .. hmm!

unless you're right - I wouldn't put it past some Twilight eejit to sit down and write a fake script!
