zzazzb Posted January 15, 2009 Report Posted January 15, 2009 I'm trying not to gag at the idea of anyone from the hsm cast in a twilight movie role. I remember reading how many girls wanted Zac Efron to play Edward- I wanted to throw books at their heads. me too. and as much as i love HSM, i really don't want any of the cast in Twilight, one of the things i liked about the movie was i didn't really know any of the actors, if Vanessa was to get the role of Leah, the whole movie i would be thinking of her as Gabriella, i can't help it. it's what i do.
bay girl Posted January 16, 2009 Report Posted January 16, 2009 Apparently Vanessa auditioning was just a bunch of crap. And from what ive read, it sounds as though Leah isnt even going to be in New Moon.
claire-b Posted January 16, 2009 Report Posted January 16, 2009 I finally got to see the film last night. I went with 3 friends who have also read the books & we were relly excited to see how it worked on the big screen. Our only disappointed was carlisle, he looked as young if not younger than edward & although we expected him to be youngish we felt he was wrong for the part. But the paleness of his skin was what we expected it just a pity the rest of them weren't the same. Over all though it was a really good film.
Cal Posted January 18, 2009 Report Posted January 18, 2009 SizzlingPopcorn.com had a snippet of a press release about the DVD. Cal Posted January 18, 2009 Report Posted January 18, 2009 Ooooh! I love it already. So do I. It's such a shame when a DVD is released with little or no extra content. This seems to be quite a catch! I've been investigating. Nobody has been cast for Aro and Jane for New Moon. So what are your suggestions? Are they supposed to look Italian? Is Jane really young? How old (physically) is Aro? All these questions! I loved the rumour about that girl from HSM auditioning for Leah Clearwater. It's interesting because Leah Clearwater won't be in New Moon
Adia Posted January 19, 2009 Report Posted January 19, 2009 Just saw the movie. Robert Pattinson was just through the whole thing and I loved the Bella/Edward chemistry. Carlisle and Emmett were great eye candy as well. Although I thought in Carlisle's first scene at the hospital, he was just waaay too pale. But a fantastic movie. I will defintely be buying this on the day it comes out! Have just finished reading "Midnight Sun" on the Stephenie Meyer website. i really hope she publishes it!
freakybuffy Posted January 19, 2009 Report Posted January 19, 2009 I read Midnight sun last night! I think it's awesome. She has to publish it. I've also pre-ordered my copy of Twilight, I can't wait for it to arrive, the only thing is it's 2 month away. But I've got the soundtrack to keep me entertainned till then, so fingers crossed it won't drag too much. I thought I was the only one who thought Carlisle was good looking, everyone who I've said that too have laughed in my face.
