Will we have a break for Christmas as well?

We'll actually only be two weeks behind them when they resume which is incredibly close.I'd say it's almost definite that we'll be having another break of at least two weeks at Easter(and you can make other plans for Bank Holidays-although, come to think of it, Easter is the next one after Christmas).I am a bit surprised they're letting it get this close but at the moment it's advertised as returning 5th January.(Unless they've changed it when I wasn't looking.)

No Inside Soap has advertised it as returning on the 5th of January so it hasnt changed !! I cant wait for it to return !!

Well two weeks, or one week, however long is very close, and I hope they don't force us back to five weeks behind again, there is no need for any breaks, I don't see why it can't remain consistantly behind at two weeks, having just one big break at the end of the year bewteen the finale and return episode. I suppose it's all about loss of viewers though.....

That's easy. At the end of every year show seven weeks worth of 'early years' episodes, continuing from where they left off.......not gonna happen, but still.
