Its not yet confirmed but I expect H&A to return on the 12th January in Aus with episode 4771 and that day the UK will air ep 4756.

So if im correct then when H&A returns in Aus we will only be 15 episodes behind which will be very close indeed .Only 3 WEEKS.

The UK station must know the return date in Aus because how would they be able to announce the UK return date? It has got to be Jan 12 in Aus according to those above dates.

Yeah thats what I was thinking too, the UK do have information on the Aus return date definitely otherwise they couldnt be able to state their return date in the UK.

There is no way that UK will stay that close for long. Watch out for a break in the next few months!

We'll actually only be two weeks behind them when they resume which is incredibly close.I'd say it's almost definite that we'll be having another break of at least two weeks at Easter(and you can make other plans for Bank Holidays-although, come to think of it, Easter is the next one after Christmas).I am a bit surprised they're letting it get this close but at the moment it's advertised as returning 5th January.(Unless they've changed it when I wasn't looking.)

Hi all, I emailed channel 5 on wednesday to ask when Home and Away returns in Jan how many weeks we will be behind and they have confirmed in the email that when it returns on the 5th we will be 2 weeks behind as that is only how close we are allowed to get...i also asked about how many breaks it would be taking next year but they couldnt confirm anything for that....2 weeks thats great news isnt it??!
