Ryan Posted August 18, 2008 Report Posted August 18, 2008 One of the Brits failed to medal in the cycling. She should not be allowed to return for bringing shame up on the country.
fusion376 Posted August 18, 2008 Report Posted August 18, 2008 Swimming is not my favorite sports but i must say this Phelps has done a awesome job. he set a record which can not be broken in coming years easily.
Dean Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 The only thing I have seen this time around is the gymnastics. The competitor fell off the bar. Still managed a 16/20.
KaitieL Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 They are flogging the gymnastics, but thankfully I do enjoy watching it. Good on Anna Meares - a well deserved Silver. What a come back for her after breaking her back at the start of the year and was nearly left paralysed. I'm still waiting to see Sally McLellan in the 100m women's hurdles. They keep on saying it's coming, but it's midnight and I'm tired and want to go to bed. It better come on soon.
Cal Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 Barnes and Egan are both guaranteed Bronze medals for Irish boxing. I just hope they can move that up to gold!
