Yeah, shame at least one of the episodes advertised is only a few weeks old-I'd prefer to see more of the older stuff.I'd like it even better if they forked out for the ITV episodes but that's never gonna happen.

ye if you look on the radiotimes website it lets you see for the week starting 11th Aug now too. That weeks eps are called "H&A: Hunks and Hotties" o_0 and the last eps of that are something about Nicole!! so like you said, only a few weeks ago! boooo! i bet it will be when she was topless in the sea with Geoff ¬_¬. The other eps sound quite non-eventful too... oh well, better than nothing Oh one is when Noah arrives i think though and rescues Hayley

Erm 25th August is a Bank Holiday, and five no longer show eps on a BH, soooo can anyone confirm if there is in fact an ep that day or does H&A actually return on Tuesday 26th?

There isn't an episode on Monday 25th August due to Bank Holiday.

But they might put on an special episode of Home and away like an key episode.

And Home and away will be back on Tuesday the 26th August.

Yeah, it was that episode with Nicole-that was the clip they were using in the trailer.

It's a great idea to plug the gap but just badly thought out - especially replaying the Nicole/Aden/Geoff episode again so soon.

Admittedly the Five archive isn't huge but it would be nice for them to show a few more episodes from the Coral Drouyn era for example - the Angie stuff especially, who wouldn't want to get her walk of shame shown on telly again?

There's a lot of good moments in the Five years which have been passed over a bit now when it comes to the Classic Episodes series' they run: the Mirigini, the 2004 Olympic siege (which I still regard as H&A's finest hour), and of course the entire first round of the Kirsty and Kane story. All good stuff I'd like to see again.

Five are selecting not enough older episodes, they seem to go for more recent ones, that most people have seen.

Like to see five replaying angie storyline, dani running over kane, her trail and jail etc, maybe the long 4mths lead up to the stalker revelation - i know not all can be played, but maybe the better ones, and definetly the 2004 olympic cliffhanger, the guv episodes as well were good.....come on five pick better ones - not really interested in the hunks and hotties theme....come on get someone to look over the collection!!!

Hopefully we'll get a similar thing at Christmas. But let's have some Angie, some Mirigini - and I also agree the second Dani vs Kane trial (the 2003 one) should get rerun. Both eras of "The Guv" were fantastic (while Dani was in jail and then when it came out Ric was Alf's grandson).

I wouldn't be bothered about not seeing the stalker storyline again, it's too recent and not a storyline I'm particularly fond of since the decision to sequel it in 2006.

If you ask me though they've missed a golden opportunity to run a "Best of KK" during this break, which would of course easily fill a week. Dani's rape was shown on TEY of course but we've the Mirigini on there, all the "first-time-round" stuff, then the "Hearts Divided" material, Kirsty's kidney saga, the Cancer battle and of course the framed robbery.

And the Twin Swap but I'd hope those tapes have been burned by now!

To be fair, they did do a Kirsty & Kane weekend last year so it's not that long since those episodes were on.

The third week is titled "X-Rated". Another disappointment, in my opinion - episodes all from the past couple of years, and not really any 'classics'.

Considering five has the rights for the show from 2000, you'd have thought they could come up with a better selection - I was quite looking forward to seeing some 'oldies'. Most of week 2/3 seem to be episodes picked almost at random, without anything noteable about them. Non-events.

A golden opportunity missed - the weddings week was the best one I think, and seemed to pull in some decent weddings (Sally/Flynn and Hayley/Noah, and I guess Jack/Martha (I) was good for the drama value), but I felt they could have fitted more in - rather than do a run of two episodes on the same wedding. Where were Will/Gypsy and Leah/Vinnie?

Concept = great; reality = not so good. But hopefully they'll try again over Christmas.
