I just love it! I love the high points(this year has been outstanding), and the low points(they make you appreciate it when its good even more). I love the characters I like because I can root for them to be happy and succeed in life and love(e.g. Aden), and the ones I don't like because I can enjoy their misery and shout at the screen when I see them(e.g. J&M). I love the beautiful scenery, I think Home And Away is by far the most picturesque soap opera, I can't think of any show set in a more beautiful part of the world. I love the escapism the show gives you from everyday life, with some of the more over-the-top storylines(I have yet to come across a crazy stalker in life, but Summer Bay has a few every year), and I love how almost everyone is very pleasing on the eye. I love that so many of my childhood and teenage crushes have been guys on the show, from Tug, to Shane, to Curtis, to Sam Marshall, to Lachie, to Will, to Harry, to Mitch, to Nick, to Josh, to Ric, to Rocco, and now my adult crush on Aden. I love how characters like Colleen and Morag can make me laugh out loud. I love the thought that goes into the writing of the more serious dramatic storylines like Aden's abuse or Cassie's HIV. Most of all I love the sense of familiarity I get when watching Home And Away. It's always been a part of my life, every weekday since I was a little kid, and I seriously can't think of any other show that would have me on the edge of my seat in anticipation, waiting to learn the fate of a main character, like Home And Away did after Rocco stabbed Sally in 2006. That break felt like the longest wait in history, I thought the 2007 season would never start.
