i am a fan because i always like good drama plus the stories can always relate to you some way or form.

And the good characters always help to!

I watch it because I cope with stuff like that everyday. Like what guy you like and how to tell him. Or why do bullies bully you?. How characters feel when something happens in their life. Things like that. All and all. Home and Away rocks .

Getting kidnapped by cults...being stalked by escaped crims...escaping from plane crashes, hmm, all a day in the life :-)

I started watching it to see the beach scenes but I now like it because it's so far removed from reality, basically a nice light weight show, I also think some of the story lines are pretty good although they haven't managed to surpass Angies yet :-)

If you select the forum guide next to the search button at the top right of the screen and then go to avatar you should be able to find what you're looking for and the explanation is far better than I could give you.

I remember watching it once just to pass time and since then I haven't really stopped watching it.

What I like about it is the fact that even after characters I like have left new characters come in that I do like. Also that even though there are long storylines that take time there's still small storylines that keep my attention.

i am a fan of home and away because of jack and martha. They are what keep me watching the show online. They are the definition of home and away.

I started watching it cause my Nanna used to watch it when i went round hers after school. Me&my sis were obsessed with Shannon & Selina.. and then Will&Gypsy and Hayley.. We totally looked up to them, i remember spending ages doing each others hair to look like Hayley's crazy styles and trying to dress like the girls. So i guess that's what kept me hooked through my pre teen years.

Stopped watching so much between 2003-2006, just sort of catching the main eps.

Now i guess i watch because it's got the drama, but it's not too depressing. It's still got the fun to it.

Got hooked to the Angie storyline. Watched the show eversince. I watched it abit when i was really young like in 1997 i think.

That angie storyline was so good.

i started wathing it because i was bored once and i was flicking TV channels, and then got to the 2004 olympic cliffhanger ep. so i made a note of when it came back and the rest is history i have watched it ever since!

Been watching it for years but started really getting into it during the whole Sutherland era - In particular the Kirsty/Kane saga and the storylines featuring Angie.

I just love the show. I love the drama and the fact it is so 'out there' and it doesn't try to be something it's not. I also love the way it can still relate to day to day life with the general characters and some of the smaller shory lines. I like the big explosive extraordinary storylines but there doesn't seem to have been many of them recently:( Even when it's going through rubbish phases I still watch it - I'm an addict and I *need* to watch it LOL.
