Should Home & Away follow what Neighbours are now doing and have episodes on their website, you can watch straight after its shown on free to air tv? I believe doing this (for Neighbours) has stopped so much copyright and illegal posting of episodes on youtube and would give Neighbours more viewers because it helps out the people who cannot get Channel 10 (like people living in rural areas). What do other pplz think of this?

Only,if the episodes can viewed in ANY country - the Neighbours ones can't! (at the moment)

It'll probbaly all come down to money and whether or not Seven and co can actually make a profit from airing the episodes on the web. To be honest, I think the parties involved have been very good towards the Home and Away community and it's meant that many people have been able to see episodes they wouldn't have otherwise been able to see.

I doubt they would allow it for any other country other then Australia because with Neighbours, the channel over there brought the rights to show it over there and they wouldnt be happy with uk people being able to watch it months ahead off the Neighbours website.

If like Neigbours they were to show Home and Away online they would loose quite a lot of revinue so personally I dont think they will show it on line, also Neighbours havent got the viewers like Home and Away.

Like Ryan, I'd worry that if Home and Away followed this theme the episodes wouldn't be so readily available to the home and away community on the fansites.

I would love it if I could watch Home and Away episodes online, I know that may be a bit tricky, but it would be so wonderful. Because I struggle so much to follow this show since they will not air it anymore in my country. There are so many episodes I need to see, but I guess in a way it would be a bit too good to be true to have all episodes online. Well, they can't have all, because this show has been going on for ages

But then again...Nothing is impossible.
