John Posted April 1, 2009 Report Posted April 1, 2009 I use McAfee Total Protection along with SuperAntiSpyware and the combination of the two seems to work quite well. Unfortunately both involve a cost to buy and maintain. I'm no computer guru but my youngest son is. He recommended the combination.
Mez83 Posted April 1, 2009 Report Posted April 1, 2009 Ah I think you'll find Norton is one of the lowest rated virus protectors. You're far better off with AVG or something else.
grumble bum Posted April 1, 2009 Report Posted April 1, 2009 I have Kaspersky. It works really well. It updates its data bases every time you turn the computer on. And it is highly recommended.
suzannelgnz Posted April 1, 2009 Report Posted April 1, 2009 I have Bit Defender Internet Security and its great I was just going to use AVG but when I got my laptop they did me a deal with it.
Pierced Musie Posted April 1, 2009 Report Posted April 1, 2009 Avast (Free), SUPERAntiSpyware (Free) & Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware (Free). Download them, go to safe-mode on your computer and run them from there. If that doesn't work then I'm stumped.
