I have taken ages to vote because I was seriously torn between 4 and 7, I love everything about them both. Number 4 is excellent and I like the colouring, the cropping, position of the brush and the overall idea. But I think my vote has to go number 7. It is one situation where 'central' cropping works and I really like the colouring. But the one thing that tipped me over the edge is the way the texture has been integrated into the icon.

Wow! Again the standard is fabulous but this time I found the choice pretty easy. Def. No. 4.

The cropping is superb, the colouring beautiful, the background great and the words actually fit the picture which I don't think they nec. do in some of the other avs. But not only do they fit, they also have this kind of ironic twist which I love. Plus I love that film, but that's not the reason I chose it...promise

I'm going for #6. I think the colouring is amazing, and I love the intensity of the colour of the eyes, especially..and the little pink pads on the paws....cute! Oh, and I love the blue-ish blurry colour behind the lettering...I just think the whole thing fits together very well and it "works" as an icon.

However, special mention must go to #1...my bed is definately my idea of "home", too. Great minds and all that...

Wow lots of great avs and wonderful topic flutterby - very original

So it was tough but my vote goes to Number 5; I love everything about it! Especially the fact that it has a mini picture in it and I love the colouring/contrast. Although I do think that maybe the border around the small picture was a bit much . . . but thats just me.

Well done to everyone who entered My second vote would have gone to number 4 as I loved the colouring on that too.

First of all i think they're all good .

I'm going for #3. I love the colouring of the icon, i adore the cropping of the icon and i think that the text completes the icon and i like what looks like a few circles behind the text, i just think that they go really well with text and everything fits in, i.e. the text doesn't seem out of place. I think the border makes the icon better, makes it stand out alot more so that was a good idea.

I also like #6 and #4.

I think the colour on it is great and i love the cats eyes and how the paw is inshot.

Plus out of all,that reminds me of home.
