flutterby Posted August 11, 2006 Report Posted August 11, 2006 6 - beautiful cropping and colouring, simple yet effective, Capt. Jack Sparrow rocks too, but we should be voting for the avvies people!
.Cat. Posted August 11, 2006 Report Posted August 11, 2006 I really like #3. It's different than the others, and that's what I like.
Amir Posted August 11, 2006 Report Posted August 11, 2006 I'm voting for #11. Even though I don't really like him. I absolutely love the colouring and design of the piece of art.
iloverobbie Posted August 11, 2006 Report Posted August 11, 2006 7 the colouring is great and the writting. i also love the pic.
princess_in_pink Posted August 11, 2006 Report Posted August 11, 2006 #6. They all are fab but I love Jack Sparrow. The colouring and Background is good, and the text goes well with the Avatar.
-Annie- Posted August 11, 2006 Report Posted August 11, 2006 #7. It's a really great shot, and I love the simplicity of it. The text is perfect.
princess_jessik Posted August 12, 2006 Report Posted August 12, 2006 3, becuase the Anzacs are real heros. Exactly. Last time I checked Hilary Duff hasn't done anything that wonderful except act in some movies and sing. I'm not saying the Hilary avatar is bad, because it isn't and love Hilary but there is just such a huge different between the two. Number 10 also falls in this category because the other icons are all of 'fictional' characters. Anyway this is supposed to be a contest about which icon has been the best made. And it is for that reason I'm voting number 11. The colouring and cropping is fantastic and appeals to me the most. I also love the style of this avatar. However congratualations to all entrants because all the icons are amazing.
.Cat. Posted August 12, 2006 Report Posted August 12, 2006 Maybe so, but we were told to make the avatar out of something that means "Hero" to us. Hilary Duff probably is the creators hero, i.e. role model and I think we should respect that.
princess_jessik Posted August 12, 2006 Report Posted August 12, 2006 I wasn't offending that, it's just there is soo many definitions or interpretations of the term 'Hero'.
