I think it was Hayley's 18th, at the Beach House and the party went for two episodes, but on the second one it started again showing it from different perspectives. I may have a feeling this is just something I dreamt up, but I swear something like this once happened, and they both ended with the same cliffhanger when I think it was Noah or Alex kissed some random girl and it was either Hayley or Brodie who saw it at the bottom of the stairs... Am I talking in circles here or does someone remember it? I think it was during 2000/2001 when this happened, but for those who do remember it, would you know the episode numbers?
alexx Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 I've really wanted to find an episode that took place on the beach in either 98 or 99, I think it was 99, and the surf carnival was on, but the episode was very strange, it did the same thing, repeated scenes from different angles, then zoomed to the future, then back in time, then real time, then different characters perspectives...really strange, but no one seems to remember it!

Hayley's birthday was only one episode but we saw the same time period three times during the episode(I think it must have been either side of the advert breaks in Australia but in the UK it was a bit confusing).It had some nice moments, like we'd see someone knock on the bathroom and someone else would say they were in there, then in the next cycle we'd see it from the other perspective.Having seen it on Five Life last year, it lost its way a bit towards the end, repeating things for no reason.And just before the last jump Hayley came running in upset and then at the end we saw that she'd seen Noah kissing Vinnie's cousin(who was supposed to be there with Alex). The surf carnival, that was weird.It started off with all the characters listening to a radio report about what had just happened and then it kept jumping between the "present day" scenes and flashbacks to what happened. Actually, I remember a couple of other oddly structured ones offhand.There was one even earlier than that when it was all framed with Shannon doing a diary entry about this party they'd all been to round Travis and Becca's and commenting on the various different couples there.And there was a way cool one where Dani ran over Kane and it keeps cutting back to Dani apparently talking direct to camera about what happened only ring at the end they reverse angled to find she'd actually been talking to Hayley, who was sitting where the camera had been.

Something that I saw at the tail end of 1999 and not seen in any episode was a split screen phone conversation. This was Episode 2745.
