Cruise Ship Disaster 2002?

Hi everyone,

Just wondering if anyone could help me? Do you remember the cruise ship disaster? I think it was around 2002. I couldn't tell you what it was for but what I do remember is that the Sutherlands were definitely involved and I think it was the beginnings of Kirsty and Kane also. Could anyone tell me the episode number or where I could find it at all? It would be much appreciated!

I remember these episodes. Alot of the oldies came back, disaster had striked and K&K began

And if memory serves me correct, Shelly was bitten by a snake!

And while they were waiting to be rescued Paris and Irene finally admitted their feelings for each other and shared their first kiss!

The boat was the Mirigini, wasn't it?

Was the cruise meant to celebrate the centenary of the town or something? I can't quite remember.

I know that a lot of old characters returned, Sophie and Blake definitely came back, can't remember who else though.

Kirsty had been grounded (she was always getting into trouble!) but snuck out anyway as she had won tickets to the cruise and didn't want to miss out, even though she knew her parents were going and she'd be in big trouble when they found out.

I think there was a storm, Kirsty, Kane and Shelley were all washed up together. Shelley got bitten by a snake, or was almost bitten, then Kane saved her by grabbing the snake and throwing it away from her. Kirsty was really angry when she first saw Kane on the boat, but after he saved her mother she started to warm to him. He told her how he had been beaten as a kid, both by his father and his older brother. Kirsty saw a different side to him and started to see him for more than just the guy who raped her sister. They were both confused about their feelings for eachother and ended up going to counselling to talk about it.

Off the top of my head, I think the characters that came back were Steven, Frank, Carly, Matt, Floss, Celia, Lance, Martin, Sophie and Blake.
