h&A_lover Posted March 9, 2008 Report Posted March 9, 2008 Remember the time Flynn saw Belle and he didn't know who it was? Then after he came after her, Belle told him to let her go then she accidentally pushed him down the stairs. Was she responsible for is death? Because he had, like, 3 months to live but after Belle pushed him down the stairs accidentally he had 24 hours to live. The thing I'm trying to say is was it Ric's fault that Belle was there and if Belle wasn't there that would not of happened. And when is Belle going to tell Ric that it was her fault that Flynn fell down the stairs? Would she ever tell Ric what she did? Do you people get what i'm saying?
Reo Posted March 9, 2008 Report Posted March 9, 2008 At that time Flynn didnt have 3 months.. I think it would of been a week at most. Possibly less, he was really bad at that time. But no-one has ever found out about it. I find it hard to believe that Belle didnt feel more guilty about it.. She even dated Ric and has been in that house so many times, spoken to Sally so many times. But yet she doesnt show any guilt about it. Apart from that episode. I know that it is long over and it would be alittle odd if she suddenly started showing guilt. But I think it would be pretty good if she did say what happened. Im sure it would change alot of things.
Drew Posted March 11, 2008 Report Posted March 11, 2008 At that time, Flynn passed his 3-months to live warning, he was weak, but still had a few days or even weeks left in him. Him falling down the stairs just took all his remaining energy out of him. It's been two years since it's happened and I'm annoyed how it has never been brought up. With Sally leaving in only a few shorts weeks I'll doubt we'll ever hear Belle revealing the truth. It would have made good viewing if the truth had ever came out. I doubt it'll ever happen now two years later though

We just have to wait and watch to see what happens.
carmelle Posted March 11, 2008 Report Posted March 11, 2008 I know that Flynn fell down trying to run after Belle, but I don't agree that she caused or is responsible for his death in any way. He was really weak at the time and Belle didn't help things but then again nor did Ric by leaving Belle in there in the first place. I don't think Belle even realises that she could have made things worse. If that's the case she doesn't really have anything to 'confess'. I know a lot of people will probably disagree with me but that's how I saw it.
tanya Posted March 13, 2008 Report Posted March 13, 2008 belle didn't know that this guy she'd just met was dying but she knew that running away after he fell like that was the wrong thing to do, and that's what she should confess to...i can't remember whether she was around when he died, but she would have known who he was by the time she made her stay in the bay permanent, and why he died, and she would have known that it wouldn't have helped him to have fallen like that. whether it was her fault or not, the decent thing to do would have been to own up to it. i can't believe it never came up?? nobody knows? that's quite shocking, and surprising for a soap that they would keep it quiet - and i don't think they'll be revealing it anytime soon to be honest. oh, and ric was in no way to blame AT ALL. he didn't leave her there to push flynn down the stairs! she wasn't supposed to move around anyway, she was supposed to stay in the room!
rising-flame Posted March 18, 2008 Report Posted March 18, 2008 Intersting though how Flynn never mentioned to Sally, Cassie or Ric that he fell down the stairs because he saw someone else in the house.
Eli Posted March 18, 2008 Report Posted March 18, 2008 I think there was something about him not remembering falling or something. I think he said that afterwards, although I'm not sure. Like others have said, Flynn had lived for three months since he was told he had three months left, so even though the fall kind of speeded the process along he didn't have much time left. Dr. Matthews said the fall had weakened him further, but he was dying in the first place. I agree with Reo though, I always found it weird that they never made Belle feel guilty about it.
