It's difficult for me to express and opinion on Noah. I watched the show while he was on it, but for the life of me I can't remember a thing about him. He just left absolutely no impression on me whatsoever. I think it has something to do with the fact that I never really liked Hayley, and took very little interest in any of her storylines, a lot of which invoved Noah. Also, he was there during the Dani/Gypsy years so he was probably a bit overshadowed by them. Even during the Felix and Sarah storyline I can't remember what he got up to(besides getting murdered), and he was arguably one of the main players in that storyline after Dani. I guess I'll just have to take everyone's word for it that he was a great character. Angie was great, but should she really be this far up? She's a contender for the Best Villain crown, but I can think of other characters more deserving of a place in the top 20. What the hell is Lucas doing at number 14? I would bet anything he'll be way further down on the next MPC poll. The best thing the writers could have ever done with him is have him shag Ric, and they didn't even do that. Bloody time-waster! Rachel fully deserves her place in the top 20. I love the portrayal of an intelligent, successful, well-rounded character, who has flaws, but can recognise them, and has the ability to sense when a friend needs help. I love how controlled she is during a crisis(LOST aside). Now if only she could get out of that awful, cringe-worthy relationship with Tony. I don't really see the point of tearing apart other people's votes here. It's a popularity poll. If people want to vote for Rachel, I'm not going to complain because that's their vote, not mine. And if people want to put Kim in place 50 something, I won't be too worried about that either because I know he's my number two and well deserving of the 4 points I chose to give him. Yeah, it's great to see Robbie and Lucas up so far, but in my perfect world they'd be in the top five because that's how I voted. But the poll's for everyone's opinions, not just mine or yours. Is it really necessary to have sour grapes when other people - the majority, if we're going by the votes - are probably very happy with how the results are going? You're right I shouldn't have a problem with how people have voted, and I don't really, I was just surprised Angie and Lucas were so far up the poll, I'm sorry it came across as sour grapes. 6-10 were all predictably high-placed. I'm really glad Belle was at no.6, I think she's been completely overshadowed by her relationship with Drew for the past year and a half. I'm looking forward to seeing how she develops without him from now on. Vinnie and Kit are the only characters in the top 10 no longer on the show, I thought there might be more. So, my predicton for the top 5: What I would like it to be: 1) Sally 2) Irene 3) Matilda 4) Jack 5) Martha What I expect it will be: 1) Jack 2) Sally 3) Martha 4) Matilda 5) Irene

Mistified Posted March 31, 2008 Report Posted March 31, 2008 I can't see 6-10. Was Alf in it? Otherwise I would expect him to be in top 5. Sally predictably will probably come tops, or second. Perhaps a lot of nostalgic voting there on top of the genuine popularity of her character. It's great to hear Belle was so high. You don't hear too many people sing her praises, or indeed diss her either. She doesn't seem to invoke the same emotions as some other characters, so nice surprise to see she's a favourite. I'm looking forward to her going back to being interesting now that Drew is gone.

My guess is that Sally will be top, due to a mixture of great storylines, sentimentality over her leaving and the fact that so many people have grown up with her.
