Aquamarine Posted March 30, 2008 Report Posted March 30, 2008 Morag is definately deserving of her place. She's a character that (at first) was hard for me to like. She came off to me as controlling and tough, but in the end that is what you love about her. I also love her battles with that "stupid woman", Colleen. I love Noah and if anything, I would have been happy to see him reach the top 10. He will always be remembered as a lovable character and he just barely missed my own list. Angie was very well written and I couldn't decide whether I hated her, or I just loved to hate her. She'll always be known as a great villian, and I was actually hoping Five Life: Early Years would get as far as the Angie Saga. Excellent acting by both Michael and Laurie. Lucas (or Mucas as known by his haters ) is a character I will always have a soft spot for. I'm glad he scored highly, but at the same time I think there are much better characters who deserved his place. I guess my feelings toward Lucas is that I like him a lot, but I don't love him. Rachel is a wonderful character portrayed by a great actress. I think one of the reasons she did so well as she was given the chance to shine last year. I'm looking forward to seeing a lot more of her. Overall, I like this update.

It's difficult for me to express and opinion on Noah. I watched the show while he was on it, but for the life of me I can't remember a thing about him. He just left absolutely no impression on me whatsoever. I think it has something to do with the fact that I never really liked Hayley, and took very little interest in any of her storylines, a lot of which invoved Noah. Also, he was there during the Dani/Gypsy years so he was probably a bit overshadowed by them. Even during the Felix and Sarah storyline I can't remember what he got up to(besides getting murdered), and he was arguably one of the main players in that storyline after Dani. I guess I'll just have to take everyone's word for it that he was a great character. Angie was great, but should she really be this far up? She's a contender for the Best Villain crown, but I can think of other characters more deserving of a place in the top 20. What the hell is Lucas doing at number 14? I would bet anything he'll be way further down on the next MPC poll. The best thing the writers could have ever done with him is have him shag Ric, and they didn't even do that. Bloody time-waster! Rachel fully deserves her place in the top 20. I love the portrayal of an intelligent, successful, well-rounded character, who has flaws, but can recognise them, and has the ability to sense when a friend needs help. I love how controlled she is during a crisis(LOST aside). Now if only she could get out of that awful, cringe-worthy relationship with Tony. I don't really see the point of tearing apart other people's votes here. It's a popularity poll. If people want to vote for Rachel, I'm not going to complain because that's their vote, not mine. And if people want to put Kim in place 50 something, I won't be too worried about that either because I know he's my number two and well deserving of the 4 points I chose to give him. Yeah, it's great to see Robbie and Lucas up so far, but in my perfect world they'd be in the top five because that's how I voted. But the poll's for everyone's opinions, not just mine or yours. Is it really necessary to have sour grapes when other people - the majority, if we're going by the votes - are probably very happy with how the results are going?

Angie was in the top 20, which after all this time is quite something, and she is well remembered I think. I like that. Its good too that's it not all todays characters filling the top 20 places. My money is on Sally on for number 1 again
