Aquamarine Posted March 20, 2008 Report Posted March 20, 2008 Yay! Another update! Despite the fact I was never a Kirsty fan, I am a bit suprised she didn't score higher. She certainly made a big drop from being the most popular past character of the 2006 poll to missing the top 50.
DinerLandlord Posted March 22, 2008 Report Posted March 22, 2008 I'm loving the poll at the moment, four out of the five characters I voted for still haven't shown up, so I'm hoping they all rank highly. I doubt any of my choices will get the top spot, but I have an idea of the three who might take it, and I only like one of them, so I really hope that character will win. I won't name the two I hate so as not to offend anyone.
Aquamarine Posted March 22, 2008 Report Posted March 22, 2008 I think the #1 spot will either go to Irene, Sally, J&M, and possibly Matilda. I'm not the biggest fan of any of them except Irene, but they seemed to be the five characters that I remember being voted for a lot.

DinerLandlord, if someone is offended by you stating you don't like a character, then it's more their problem than it is yours. For instance, this update includes Brad who I thought was dire and I can't say I was too enamoured with some of the top 10 either.

Thanks for backing me up, its just that I've received some fairly aggressive replies in the past when I've stated my hatred for J&M, both as a couple and as individuals. Anyway, moving on. 36 - 49 has been the best bunch so far in my opinion. So many characters I absolutely love. I was delighted to see Sam place that high on the poll, I thought she'd be way further down. I didn't vote for her but I wish I had now. My love for the evil enchantress grew extensively since I cast my vote, if only I could turn back time. Johnny and Rocco . Shannon, Angel, Tam, Jazz, Pippa, Jules, Zoe . Brad and Geoff, meh. And as for Kane, I don't know. I want to hate him, but something won't let me. I guess I understand how Kirsty must have felt. I wouldn't go as far as marrying him though. Chloe, Rocco and Angel have positioned already, so only two of the five I voted for who haven't shown up yet. I'm praying my other two make the top ten.

I give credit to Sam fans for her placing so well. I didn't expect to see her do so well. I'm a little sad that 4 out of 5 of the characters I voted for have appeared, but hopefully the young lady in my avatar won't be in the next update.
Reo Posted March 23, 2008 Report Posted March 23, 2008 Everytime it updated I was so happy to NOT see Jules there, because it means he can only get higher.. I was alittle disappointed in seeing him in this section though lol . He was a great character and one of the best guest characters. (Zoe and Sarah being the best).. I wish he would come back, his exit didnt seem like the end. And I cant remember who else I voted for lol.. I think Jack and Martha will score high, which is a shame because, I dont see what is so great about them. I really dislike them alot, the storyline is like torture and the characters themselves are just annoying, they dont learn and they hurt others, but only think of themselves. But there must be something about them people like lol , I just hate that they seem to come on top of all polls. Werent they the at top of the liked and disliked poll?

Ryan Posted March 23, 2008 Report Posted March 23, 2008 I'm sure that one thing that this poll showed us is that probably not that Jade is more popular than Kirsty overall, the viewers who liked Jade have stayed with the show more than those who were fans of Kirsty. Also, I think regarding Jack and Martha, it's really been built as a "love-story" and some have bought into that love story and others haven't. Over time I've grown to like it and now want to know where it goes. Whilst I doubt either character will make my top 5, I've grown not mind them.
