sallyannj Posted March 3, 2008 Report Posted March 3, 2008 I like it when there is a relationship you know is so right like Rob & Tash so you are so engrossed watching to see if they do actually get together or not but I mean sometimes it is really so ridiculous actually how long the storyline goes on for!! Like I really want Jack and Martha to get back together so its gd but I mean the whole Scott not finding out the baby was his so many times went or for so long!!
Formerly Known as FKAJ Posted March 3, 2008 Report Posted March 3, 2008 ...BUT my god! some of the others. about your wonderings about martha's boyfriends, let's see... there was corey - who was in between jack, during their first breakup then they got married, broke up again, then... ash cam michael (who she REALLY should have stuck with!!!!) ...so in total, that's 4 and still counting!!! You missed her two weeks with Jesse. I also hate the fact that Martha didn't end up with Michael. I hope that Martha's next boyfriend is more than just an impediment to a reunion with Jack. Also, I remember at least three breakups between Robbie and Tasha in 2005. First during his HIV scare, then when he called her a groupie when he was filming the donut commercial, and of course the Believers.

NOOOOOOOOOOOO - no liking of martha and jack! liking them in this thread makes a mockery of this topic as they are the king & queen of it! aaargh!!!

It was maybe two weeks, then she realised he was just trying to get back at Josie. Do you remember Robbie, at the start of 2005, stepping on a discarded syringe? He started behaving erratically while he waited for his blood test and Tasha broke up with him. They got back together a couple of weeks later after the plane crash. With the other break-up, Tasha nearly left town with Josie but Robbie and Scott caught up to her at the last minute and they were reunited. Again, it was only a couple of weeks, nothing as serious as the Believers.
tanya Posted March 4, 2008 Report Posted March 4, 2008 oh yeah - i remember robbie stepping on that syringe, out among some trees or something, right? hmm, can't remember the plane crash though, there have been too many! but i remember the whole groupie thing and how tash nearly left but love triumphed at the 11th hour! i remember thinking that i didn't blame tash for feeling hurt about that, but it was silly to have thought about leaving for good over it, robbie just said a dumb thing without thinking it through! but that's a man for you!
Anaya Posted March 7, 2008 Report Posted March 7, 2008 I hate these type of dragged out storyline's and i think the JM one is the most pathetic! The funny thing about this whole JM saga, that has been going on for years, is that they have actually been apart and with different partners longer than they have actually been together! I mean Martha's probably had longer relationships and dealt with more deeper issues in them with nearly all of her other boyfriends... be it Cam, Ash, Michael or Corey! Even Jack and Sam have been in a relationship longer than JM's barely 2 month thing!

tanya Posted March 8, 2008 Report Posted March 8, 2008 yes definitely! of course it's a 'when will they' and it's soo annoying coz we know they will and yet they're determined to drag it out, inch by pointless and boring inch, until we start poking pins in our eyes! oh - and today we had ric and mattie break up 'for good', yeah right!! we should lay bets on how long it'll take before they get back together! weren't we lucky today - we had not one, but TWO, examples of the couples that had me start this thread in the first place! what a lovely day
alexx Posted March 8, 2008 Report Posted March 8, 2008 The stupid thing about the Jack/Martha rubbish is that the majority dont care. Compare it to the Karl/Susan scenario (Neighbours), well theres no comparisson really. Martha and Jack have been apart for well over a year, Martha is a far far better character without Jack dragging her down.
