Cassie turned 18 while she was with Jules and that's a lot less than a year ago so she must be way off 19.Matilda must be 18 by now since she's doing Year 12 for the second time(unless she got put up a year and no offence to the girl but she doesn't seem that bright)but she was still being referred to as 17 really late in the year-I think her birthday must be in November or December.

School years in Australia appear to be one behind those in the UK(hence school leavers being in Year 12)so Year 6 would be 11-12-year-olds.

One oddity:Aden was in Year 12 last year and is repeating, so why last week was he in the same class as Geoff who appears to be in the year below? Is he really behind on that subject or something?

Reply to the other list makers who replied to me earlier:

I'm glad I'm not the only one! A friend of mine has a list of all the films he's watched for the last 20 years! :o I don't know whether to admire him or get worried

I think detailed info on your characters is a good start for a film/ TV script or story. They say you have to know your characters reallywell to bring them to life. So when we all become writers, we'll have a good start :D

hmm oh ye makes sense, i thought Australian year 12 was more like equivalent of A-levels or something because the students seem to go straight to uni after year 12, so ye i wondered why it was only 1 year, makes sense that they are a year behind, thanks for explaining :)

p.s just about to make a to-do list haha. we should have a club!

Peter is older than Dan by a couple of years, so he must have been about 31/32 when he died. Belle was born in 1989 - she arrived in 2006 aged 16, but by the end of 2007 she said she had turned 18. Mattie was only 18 recently, like a month ago maybe. I remember when Kit was pregnant with Archie at the beginning of 2007 she had a scan done and Beth said she remembered having her scan when she was pregnant with Mattie and Henry 17 years ago. Pippa was born in June 2004, so she is still only 3 years old, not 5. Also, Martha turns 21 this coming Monday, because her 19th birthday was on the 7th April in 2006.

But the soap aging system is different to real years, you know you can have 2 days in 1 episode, so it's different.
