^^I know and I hope you're right. That's how I read those two words, but maybe it should read FOREVER. Seeing as it's heading that way... :(

Okay! So I didn't know this thread existed until somebody directed me over here from another thread recently started.

I'm trying to think of a good character to be gay (besides Gaden)...I could see Nicole trying out a lesbian relationship, but I doubt it would last with her...she'd probably just do it because she can...okay so maybe I haven't thought this through properly...

Me wants a solid gay relationship on h&a NAOW! :P

Yeah I've come over from the other thread too and it's been an interesting read! I liked someone's comment about Belle being a possible candidate as a bisexual character as she seems like a free spirit.

Someone once said Aden should try it with Roman and I support this idea, kinda of.

EDIT- It was emmasi, I haven't found the original post but I saw her art work on the 100 sexist people thread-

I can't remember what they said, and people here may not support it because for one thing its not a solid gay relationship (which they need) but sort of a reaction to abuse.

In support of the first sentence though, it could be since Aden granddad did that to him, it could be set in his mind that men with authority over him have that right (I'm sure someone will be able to get that and work out what I mean) and storylines from it could be such as Mr Barrlett (who as much as i dont want to be a dodgy old man will probably be one) showing his power over Aden by sexual means and Aden thinking the reason why Roman is helping is sex-based.

I did a spoiler thingy because I don't know where HAA is upto in the world, not even in NZ which is say.... I have a feeling people will disagree and what i said certainly can't be done now, but it would of provided gay storylines... which could of lead to the introduction of a gay character.

Which is another thing, I'm not sure if I want a cocky, self assured, who gives a fu#k what people think about bi guy/girl (or gay) or a quiet person, conflict and cut up about whether or not to reveal their true selves.

I will go now, in the hopes I managed to make sense.

I came from the other thread too, just wanted to say some things.

First, wasn't Tracy also a lesbian/bisexual? (Someone listed a bunch of homosexual characters but didn't list Tracy), because I thought Tracy loved Zoey/Eve so that's why she helped her in the first place.

And secondly, I think it's obivous where I stand, especially those who are familiar with Buffy *Points to name*, and I think they should make two permant gay characters, they can make really interesting story lines, or a bisexual! (I think Trace was a bisexual, because I think she may have at one point generally liked Peter, and then she liked Zoey too), it would be interesting to have a triangle, maybe Aden will be bisexual and it will be a Aden/Belle/Geoff triangle (YTes I put those pairing up for those who like Aden/Geoff and Aden/Belle;)).

before I end this post: Emmasi- On the other thread you said you were closing it, you are a mod? I didn't know that, did you recently become a mod or I just hadn't noticed?

Hehe... I'm not sure that was my idea, I seem to remember someone having a longstanding avatar of Aden and Roman shirtless with a love heart between them... Mostly I made that image because the actors look REALLY hot together and the way they were already positioned in that photo was just begging to be tampered with

I much prefer Aden and Roman to have a safe, healthy, father/son like relationship. There was a time where I thought they may have been flirting with each other when they first met, especially from Aden's side, but after everything that's happened, I think it would be a betrayal of both of them to get them together now. I'd just see Roman as taking advantage of the situation, and Aden as letting him... That's not a happy place to be :(

I'm a "forum leader" of the Aus forum. Have been for a while. Not a real mod, but a kind of mod in the Aus forum. Kind of. I have no real authority :P. I just lock and delete and edit and move things and try to keep the discussions on track... and then run to the real mods when I need help

Same...and in regards to who might be a good character to be gay...it suddenly occurred to me that Jai is a pretty good candidate. Firstly, I don't think they'd have the guts to make one of the popular heartthrobs (eg Geoff, Aden etc) gay, and as we've yet to see any real insight into Jai's personality, especially sexually

(he seems completely detached from his interactions with Annie, which I like to think is purposeful on Jordan's part)

, it could be done very believably without needing to backtrack on any past character development and mess with continuity (as they had to, for example, when they introduced Aden's abuse storyline).

I'd hate it to come across as - the 'weird' kid at school must be gay - but if they do it right I think it could really work.
