Charlotte - dead too soon?

Who on here thinks that Charlotte was killed off way too quickly? I certainly do - she had much more mileage and there were many other storylines she could have been in!

On the other hand, her death was really memorable and gave us great TV so it wasn't all bad. :)

In a strange way i'm glad she got the dramatic death she got, as although it was completely unnecessary it made her time in the Bay memorable. I'd have loved for her to stay longer as she had a lot of potential that i don't think the producers/script writers bothered to use but rather than keep a good actress/character for a couple of years they sacrificed her for the sake of a big sensational death. Shame really.

Maybe Stephanie Chaves-Jacobsen, the actress, wanted to move on, and instead of letting her leave the Bay they killed her off?

I thought she was superb as Charlotte - her acting was top notch. I know that she is doing quite well at the moment and is landing some big parts in shows... good for her!

Ahh, I'm glad I know it was her decision to leave, I too really liked Charlotte, mainly becuase I think the acting was fantastic and quite unique. If I were writing the character I would have given a bit more to her, but I loved how tragic her life ended and the storylines leading up to it becuase they were emotional.

Always remember the scene she told Jude the twins had died, and they both sobbed in each others arms, it was so well portrayed.

I would really liked Charlotte, and am gutted I never saw a lot of the episodes with her in, I never got to see her death and really want to because I think she was a great character and a great actress. I saw her on front of a dvd the other day, Stargate Atlantis or something like that!!!

^ Battlestar Galactica Razor I believe.

I'm really glad to see she's getting some good roles - she's one of, if not the main character in BSG Razor and she will also be in the US version of Life on Mars, a hit UK show.

Topic moved.

Although I fully appreciate and agree that this topic may generate more discussion in the original forum due to fans of older storylines perhaps being more inclined to congregate there, it is post-2000. :)
