Two hander or single character episodes

An episode like this could work, simply because of something I saw on YouTube...

There's a 6-part video on the site called "Charlotte's Departure" where all the events leading up to her death, and her death itself, have been edited together to make one long, hour-long episode. It's really good to see how the story develops, and doesn't feel too long at all.

I would like to see Home and Away do something like this themselves.

Zoe's reveal was pretty much a monologue to Sally... not sure if that counts though.

The Sally/Flynn/Jesse/Leah episode was beautiful.

I'm not sure, but I think that that episode where Robbie and Tash confessed to Josh's murder was all about them. There friends and family were there too, and the cops obviously... oh wait, Martha wrecked it by making it about her and Jack somehow. Well, it was close...

I think there have been a few episodes that focus on one storyline, but I'm not sure if there's been any where there's only one or two characters. It could be good.

The Sally/Flynn/Leah /Jesse episode was indeed beautiful...it was very memorable..... it was one of those episodes which sticks in your mind...it was different from all of the others. I think it would be nice to see some single or double character episodes very occasionally...... written by good writers..... and acted by the good actors. It would be great viewing.

It wasn't a whole episode, but I loved the scene where Barry told Kim about how his mother died. I'm pretty sure it took up an entire act, and it was just Barry talking while Kim sat and listened. It was pretty awesome.

I am not sure whether a single hander ep is such a good idea.

Would you like to say why? I think it would be difficult, but not impossible, with the right character, at the right point in a good story line. One of the good actors could do it really well.

The episode that aired the other day with Belle and Dom in the shack was like a two hander episode, with a couple of other characters thrown in :P. It focused on one storyline, and not only did it give the viewers a chance to get a deeper insight into the storyline itself, it also allowed us to witness some fantastic acting from Jessica Tovey and Sam North.

^ There was something quite unique about it aswell. Maybe that's because it was heavily focused on one storyline, rather than focused on the usual 3 to 4 other storylines per episode! :D

Like I said, I'd really like to see H&A do a one hander or a two hander episode. There is alot that could be covered in terms of storylines...
