James Martin Posted January 27, 2008 Report Posted January 27, 2008 It'll be going to 2:15pm at lunchtime but I am not sure whether or not this will be a first showing or a repeat. This begins on February 11th, the day Neighbours begins on Five. Neighbours is to be shown at 1:45pm and WILL be a first showing, like it has done on the BBC.

The lunch time episode will be a NEW episode as of 11th February to bring it in line with Neighbours. Just checked with the TV listings and seems this is the case. I record anyway so doesn't matter to much.

James Martin Posted January 30, 2008 Report Posted January 30, 2008 So, to confirm: Both Neighbours and Home & Away will have their first showings in the afternoon, followed by their second showings at teatime. Makes sense if its already been shown on Five Life. Is 7pm confirmed for first-look Neighbours btw? I understand there's about ten million repeats on Five Life, but I'm not sure if Home & Away is getting any additional exposure.

Still reckon it's an excellent move on Five's part - hopefully it'll bring back viewers to Home & Away in the process. Both shows are ringing in some big changes at the moment - Neighbours' wholesale revamp and Home & Away's 20th storylines - so hopefully both shows stand to benefit.
I love music Posted February 3, 2008 Report Posted February 3, 2008 I like the nice, sunny, happy, cheesy advert for it with everyone running round shouting "We're going to Five". I might start watching again, I used to watch...ooh, so long ago I can actually remember Kylie (as a car mechanic or something and with mad hair) and Jason dating !!! They're taking a chance tho, giving it the same timeslot as the hugely popular Emmerdale . Still, I've never really watched Emmerdale so I'll try and tune in.
