freakybuffy Posted February 28, 2008 Report Posted February 28, 2008 Well I was slightly bi**hy in my email. I sent my email to customerservices@five.tv I just hope they but them back on, as I'm the same as you! I can't remember the last full episode I watched.
pippa_ ross Posted February 28, 2008 Report Posted February 28, 2008 No, they haven't exactly said anything about it returning but they haven't said it will be either it's called skirting around the issue. They are being bl**dy minded about the whole thing. they told me there was no room in the schedule for it and to keep checking the listings. They know very well there will be a big fuss if they say it won't be back, as if there isn't enough fuss already!
Hellboy Posted February 28, 2008 Report Posted February 28, 2008 Well I was slightly bi**hy in my email. I sent my email to customerservices@five.tv I just hope they but them back on, as I'm the same as you! I can't remember the last full episode I watched. Thanks, freakybuffy. I imagine with the arrival of Neighbours they thought that they'd be too many showings of the two soaps so they wanted to cut down? That's one theory anyway. I think five said the ratings were fine, so I don't think it's that?
Hellboy Posted February 28, 2008 Report Posted February 28, 2008 I've just sent them this email. Hello, I'd just like to voice my dissaspointment at five life not returning The Early Years since the seasonal break. I know you haven't confirmed that you've dropped them all together, but the fact that they're not airing at the moment has caused alot of worry for myself and others who have enjoyed watching them. http://backtothebay.com/forum/index.php?sh...28601&st=30 If you could please give us an indication or some sort of hint as to what is going to happen? Are five more likely to drop showing them all together, or to carry on showing them? Even if you put it on in the dead of the night, I'd just be happy that they've returned. Thanks, Jamie I imagine I'll get the same response as you, freakybuffy. I think if this fails, a proper internet petition might be a good idea? If enough people sign them then they are often noticed. Even if it doesn't mean the reurn of the early years five will know that H&A fans are not happy with them.
tanya Posted March 5, 2008 Report Posted March 5, 2008 i can understand why people would want to watch stories that they've missed, but don't you find it a bit pointless watching people & plots when you know that it's all moved on so much? or am i just totally missing the point here!
Kateritchiefan Posted March 5, 2008 Report Posted March 5, 2008 ^Um i think you are missing the point abit!
Daisyap Posted March 5, 2008 Report Posted March 5, 2008 Well it hasn't really all moved on so much because they are mostly all different characters! Ones I personally prefered.
pippa_ ross Posted March 5, 2008 Report Posted March 5, 2008 i can understand why people would want to watch stories that they've missed, but don't you find it a bit pointless watching people & plots when you know that it's all moved on so much? or am i just totally missing the point here! Yes afraid you are missing the point, we like to catch up with episodes we missed plus seeing all the old characters again and reminding ourselves of how good it used to be. Doesn't matter if you've seen them all before you notice things you didn't before different actors that you never realised were in it, current actors playing different parts bac then even. Some people like to reminice but you don't have to watch them but thanks for your views
tanya Posted March 5, 2008 Report Posted March 5, 2008 ok, ok. believe me, there was no malice/criticism in in my comments, was just putting my iopinion forward, whatever you guys want to watch is cool. it's just me...like when i read books/watch films where they talk about what happened x years ago, i always want them to move on to the present!! coz i want to get to now! i also find it sad when i see people who've died or something, and i just think awww. ...anyway, hope for your sake that fivelife brings back the repeats! any news yet from those of you who've contacted five?
