Daisyap Posted December 3, 2007 Report Posted December 3, 2007 This is the outside view we get sometimes of Irene's house: Now I guess that's the porch on the left so that would mean those big windows are on the side we never see but that doesn't make much sense, I mean I know realisically the lights and crew are there but there's never any inclination that there are windows there, I mean they never look out there, we never see any light shining through and on the odd occasion we do see more of that side there aren't any windows there. Unless I'm looking a this picture wrong.

pippa_ ross Posted December 5, 2007 Report Posted December 5, 2007 sorry about the repeat posts made 1 mistake and tried to edit but it went wrong it was supposed to say sets not stes
Daisyap Posted December 5, 2007 Report Posted December 5, 2007 They have to take them down every day?! Man, that's crazy.
chatter box Posted December 5, 2007 Report Posted December 5, 2007 They have one studio, and rotate the sets, sometimes they change the sets several times in a day. Is this still the house they use for the external shots of the Beach House? I thought it was slightly different. All the houses seem bigger inside than they appear from the outside . The Beach House is one of my favourites though as it looks like a home. I wish we saw a bit more of it.
Dan F Posted December 5, 2007 Report Posted December 5, 2007 The windows you are seeing there would be the main doors into the house - meaning that the porch is at the back of the house. It's mostly impossible to work out how the sets fit into the actual buildings anyway Don't forget you can see the original location used for the Beach House here http://backtothebay.net/locations/onlocati...-original.shtml

Also the stairs don't lead anywhere, which i was disapointed about seeing the inside of a set the first time and no ceiling lol Some programs have used some real houses, don't know if i'm allowed to mention which
Daisyap Posted December 6, 2007 Report Posted December 6, 2007 Oh that house looks very different! Thanks.
tyty0932 Posted January 22, 2008 Report Posted January 22, 2008 wow they have to take down the sets each day? i had assumed they had several sound stages and had the sets permanently set up there its too bad they didn't incorporate those windows into the set somehow they could make for a great view!
