Miranda Posted January 8, 2009 Report Posted January 8, 2009 Irish Angel, is there any way you can tell us how many more episodes we have left in UK? I did feel sorry for Daniel today. I could have told Deborah months ago that she should pay attention to him, because that is all he wants: attention from his mother, instead of her worshipping Philby, Tess and now Jason. I like Deborah but she needs to see what is before her eyes. I also think he felt a bit bad about Darcy being left on the beach, he looked slightly worried when he heard about Tess taking him there. I really enjoyed today's episode [as ever ]. There were a lot of funny moments and light heartedness, as well as drama. I can't imagine what Stavva, Bec and Kirsten will be like living together! And I think that was the last we will see of Stephen He was framed in the doorway as they do when people leave: a goodbye picture.
Mrs Bishop Posted January 8, 2009 Report Posted January 8, 2009 Wasnt it channel 7 who made it for the BBC so it might not affect us but of corse thats if either the BBC or channel Five decide to show more.
Miranda Posted January 8, 2009 Report Posted January 8, 2009 I don't know. I get confused with all these Channels Five, Seven, Nine, Ten. I don't even know if SummerBayLocal is telling us the correct information, so I sent him a PM to interrogate him

I managed to catch todays UK episode and as far as i remember there's only about 10 episodes left. It's a shame it's been axed in Australia because it finishes with such a fantastic cliffhanger which left it wide open for a 2nd season but i guess we'll never find out what happens now
irish_angel Posted January 8, 2009 Report Posted January 8, 2009 Wasnt it channel 7 who made it for the BBC so it might not affect us but of corse thats if either the BBC or channel Five decide to show more. It was made by Southern Star Entertainment Pty. Ltd. and Channel 10 was the money behind it as far as i know.
SummerBayLocal Posted January 8, 2009 Report Posted January 8, 2009 My understanding is that TEN had nothing to do with it. They are just showing it, as irish_angel said Southern Star made it for the UK and TEN simply just bought it to show in Australia. Home and Away is different because it is made by Seven and OOTB is made by a company not by a channel. It is simple: on TEN it got low ratings and was axed. Nathan. Posted January 9, 2009 Report Posted January 9, 2009 Yes, it was Petaand Poppy, I was winding Nathan up i thought i was going crazy for a minute Well it damn well worked! My mouth literally dropped and my heart is beating 3000x faster than it should be I love this show. Sam is about to get his revenge on the Joneses. Could someone please send me a PM and explain what happened with Sam and the Joneses to make him hate them so much? I missed the episodes..
Miranda Posted January 9, 2009 Report Posted January 9, 2009 Ha ha Nathan Only 10 more episodes? Boo hoo I think Ten are crazy. They showed it at a stupid late night time, even though the show is completely harmless, instead of a sensible time. It is shown at 1pm in the afternoon in Britain where anyone could watch it, so surely the subject matter can't be offensive. People are always going on about why channels don't show good drama, yet when it comes along, the channels don't give it a chance and cancel it within a few weeks. Crazy
Mrs Bishop Posted January 9, 2009 Report Posted January 9, 2009 I know OOTB was made for the BBC in the uk the BBC are a funny bunch because if a programe dosent make it with the ratings they off it but as far as I know Austrailia Picked it up well after we had been watching it, it was made to replace Neighbours.
Zetti Posted January 9, 2009 Report Posted January 9, 2009 Does anyone know if another season is coming?
