vaughany Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 Bad news, no OOTB on next Thursday or Friday due to Live! Bowls. Great(!).
alexx Posted November 19, 2008 Report Posted November 19, 2008 I have a feeling its going to flop on 10. I've been watching, but I must say the production values, like Headland, seem quite dated - the camera quality seems rather cheap for a 10.30pm show, and I feel people just aren't going to give it a chance because of this. They should have added a High Definition/film grain effect to it. But the storyline has been interesting along with the characters, so I'll continue to watch!
Drew Posted November 19, 2008 Report Posted November 19, 2008 Headland looked really cheap, it wasn't just the camera work, it was also the sets. I think the camera quality looks pretty fine... And yes, I can see it being a flop, because they don't promote it! I'm finding interesting so far though.
~Lynd~ Posted November 19, 2008 Report Posted November 19, 2008 I watched the first episode but i doubt i'll watch regularly. It's on to late.
alexx Posted November 20, 2008 Report Posted November 20, 2008 I think the camera quality looks pretty fine... And yes, I can see it being a flop, because they don't promote it! Yeah, it does look ok I suppose, it just looks a bit too soapy for that timeslot imo. Í've been enjoying it actually, it reminds me of Heartbreak High a bit.
Drew Posted November 20, 2008 Report Posted November 20, 2008 I'm liking it. I even got teary and it's just four episodes in. It's sad that there's not going to be a 2nd series (well there's a very very slim chance), but I guess we still havt another 126 episodes to go. (that's if Ten show the whole thing)
Mrs Bishop Posted November 21, 2008 Report Posted November 21, 2008 Well I do hopr there is a second series because were getting to a very interesting stage at the moment.
Miranda Posted November 22, 2008 Report Posted November 22, 2008 Bad news, no OOTB on next Thursday or Friday due to Live! Bowls. Great(!). Live Bowls? Isn't that an oxymoron? Bah! I must say how brilliant the last few episodes of OOTB have been, I'm awestruck. I have felt sorry for Deborah McManus for a long time now: she has had a terrible life and she has been so upset thinking her baby died of cot death and then finding out it was in fact Jason. Poor woman, she is a mother, after all, not a monster And at last we got a glimpse of the hurt, rejected little boy Daniel is. But yay! Tess and Stavva Now the Australians are watching OOTB, how much of our posts should we put in spoilers?
Miranda Posted November 22, 2008 Report Posted November 22, 2008 Okay, we'll do that Perhaps we should all talk in code
