lolajaney Posted November 9, 2007 Report Posted November 9, 2007 Is there another special weekend thiss weekend or am I going mad?
Hellboy Posted November 9, 2007 Report Posted November 9, 2007 It appears as though Five Life are going to show the Weddings on Saturday and Sally and Flynn: A love story - on Sunday. Let's hope they actually show Leah and Vinnie's wedding this time.
JackWilkins Posted November 9, 2007 Report Posted November 9, 2007 Heaven!! I'm relieved I found this thread now!
Lesley Bee Posted November 9, 2007 Report Posted November 9, 2007 Sounds good, especially the saturday episodes. I love a good soap wedding
Lilone Posted November 9, 2007 Report Posted November 9, 2007 Saturday: 4pm As Sally and Kieran's big day arrives, Joel admits to Gypsy that he misses Nat. Making their way into the church, Gypsy glares at Kieran. Will she finally let the truth be known? Meanwhile, as Sally prepares to enter the church, Fisher admits that he can't give her away - someone else has volunteered. 4:30pm As the residents of Summer Bay prepare for Leah and Vinnie's wedding, Leah is anxious about Alex and her father. Later, Shauna reveals that she pities Holly who seems to believe that all men find her irresistible. Holly overhears the conversation and confronts Shauna. 5pm Gypsy cannot contain her excitement as her wedding day approaches while Will struggles with a stomach bug. Meanwhile, Nathan arrives in Summer Bay and is upset to see Irene playing happy families - he glares at the family portrait Hayley painted. Later, Gypsy and Will finally tie the knot and leave the Bay for good. 5:30pm The residents of Summer Bay congregate on a quiet beach where Rhys and Beth are married. It is a joyous occasion until they realise that Kirsty has run off with Kane to get married herself. As Kane and Kirsty tie the knot, Kane reveals that he's got them a little cottage. Kirsty tries to stay positive but she still has doubts about living there. Meanwhile, a shocking accident leaves Brodie and Hayley's lives hanging in the balance. 6pm Happiness and celebration abound in Summer Bay when Noah and Hayley tie the knot and Kirsty and Kane reaffirm their vows. Kirsty sings Kane a song while Kane does something extraordinary. Later, Matilda, Max and Henry decide it's their mission to keep Shelley away from Beth. 6:30pm Alf simply can't relate to Duncan, and wonders if he possesses an evil streak. Meanwhile, Leah has a very special birthday present for Flynn, but Jesse is not permitted to share the moment. 7pm The residents of Summer Bay congregate at the Beach House not only to celebrate baby Noah's christening, but also to say goodbye to Scott and Hayley. Tasha leaves the party early to meet up with Jonah. 7:30pm There's smiles all round in Summer Bay as Kim and Rachel finally tie the knot. However, there is drama in store for the newlyweds when a surprise visitor drops by with a shocking announcement. Sunday 4pm As Flynn celebrates his 30th birthday, he involves Pippa in a very special surprise for Sally. Meanwhile, Irene and Paris's relationship fizzles out, and a family role-playing exercise leads to an outburst from Kirsty. 4:30pm When Sally raises the question of marriage, Flynn backs off, resulting in the couple's first major argument. However, at school the next day, Flynn has a surprise for Sally that leaves her speechless. 5pm As Leah's wedding day dawns, she has superstitious second thoughts, and believes that she's received a warning signal against getting married. Can Dan the groom or her many friends persuade her to go through with it? 5:30pm Sally is planning a surprise trip to Italy for Flynn, but he has a devastating shock for her regarding his health. With tears in his eyes, he struggles to tell her the heartbreaking truth... 6pm As Flynn's condition worsens, Sally's morale begins to crumble. With tensions rising on both sides, the loving couple struggle to come to terms with his illness. 6:30pm Flynn tries to keep details of his illness from his friends. At the diner, Irene hears a noise and believes an intruder is trying to gain access. Meanwhile, Alf - who is under arrest - is outraged at the evidence that's stacking up against him. 7pm As Flynn is close to death, he bids a tearful farewell to his family, and shares one last dance with wife Sally. Not everyone is comfortable with the situation, though, notably Ric, who can't help but flee from the scene. 7:30pm Despite a highly emotional funeral for Flynn, an underwhelmed Sally still somehow feels that his life has not been honoured sufficiently... until she scatters his ashes across the beach.
Lesley Bee Posted November 9, 2007 Report Posted November 9, 2007 OMG can't believe they are showing the episode where Flynn tells Sally he has cancer, it was so heartbreaking. I think it was the way it was done, you can see them both speaking but you can't hear anything. All you have is the sad music and Sally collapsing into Flynns arms. I actually feel really sad right now just thinking about it
JackWilkins Posted November 9, 2007 Report Posted November 9, 2007 Wow! These sound good, and a few new ones I don't remember seeing! Also, fingers kind of crossed they might actually be showing the 2005 finale by the looks if it! WooHoo!! :D
lolajaney Posted November 10, 2007 Report Posted November 10, 2007 except they played in the wrong order.... Leah first when I taped it. Weren't these Sally one's on a few weeks ago?
Miranda Posted November 10, 2007 Report Posted November 10, 2007 This all sounds good. Except the illness and death of Flynn- I'll avoid those episodes, I couldn't watch them when they were on the first time!
bttb-rox!
