I was getting Sooooooooo frustrated when Jodi (Martha) and Mark (Ric) were doing the voice overs, their concerned voices, as if we were to beleive it was the charcaters speaking to us. Ric never acts so monotonous concerned, it was like they were reading a book to school children! And Martha's ' I can't imagine that much rain in the bay' , Um two weeks ago you were sheltering in the surf club because your ex was trapped out in 'that much rain', plus she was hiding under a table terrified when the cyclone hit.

I prefered it when Jason (Robbie) and chris (Kim) were doing it in 2005, they were talking as actors and they were less serious e.g 'I remeber this episode being quite a challenge (2005 return week), but for some of us cough- Ada- cough they got to film all their scenes in bed'

The voice overs are soooo annoying

Obviously I'm in a minority of one particularly sad individual but I do like the voiceovers. The Mark spoiler one was probably a mistake, and some have been a bit contrived or whatever but if done well (perhaps scripted and recorded at the time they do the actual storyline) then they could be great.

In terms of convincingness of their voices you have to remember that actors and voice actors are slightly different things, acting with just your voice is more difficult and some of the cast may not have done it before.

Also I did use to love the 2 women announcers who use to ramble on about heir own thing between the episodes, I remember during one one of the women outed the other as the person who once locked her teacher in a cupboard or something much to the others obvious embarrassment and it had me in stitches.

In Ireland, we don't even have an ADVERT for Home and Away.

The only thing that RTE have done, besides saying every single day ''Here's Home and Away'', was inform the viewers that

Kate Richi who plays Sally has confirmed today that she is leaving the show

That's it!! I remember they had an advert for TTV (thats what Home and Away is on everyday on RTE2) around the time Zoe returned, and in the advert they included Home and Away, Neighbours and The Simpsons. I kinda remember seeing Sally in the hospital after the explosion and Rachel and Leah in Leah's kitchen, but I remember it was a very scabby advert. I wish we treated it better in Ireland.

I loved it when they did the voice-overs! They were being more Jason and Chris, than Robbie and Kim . It'd be great if they could do some voice-overs again, but there probably wouldn't be much point though, with Robbie and Kim gone .

This is a bit off-topic but, I'd love to see this ident back again...with current characters in it of course .
