I was just looking up the tv guide, and one of the episodes on the 14th is one hour long!

The sutherland mineshaft one, I am guessing.

Was that originally an hour long episode in the UK, or was it spilt into two eps?

Why are they showing it an hour long? Does anyone know?

Its not that I am complaining, its just that I have never remember when an hour log episode was ever shown here......???

Or maybe I am wrong............

It isn't actually an hour long episode, the TV Guide that you read have obviously just decided to write the 2 linked episodes as one big one for some reason

The promos keep making me laugh! They make it sound and look as though the weekend is full of really horrid, gruesome stuff. It's a bit misleading if you ask me . I'm still trying to get over the fact that Belle's kidnapping is in there...what an earth is it doing there?! It was a little bit dramatic I admit, but what it's doing in the 'horrors' weekend I have noooo idea .

I hear that Belle's extremely popular (apparently). Maybe that's why it's there. I hope you don't have to put up with all the ringtone nonsense. Or, indeed, much of Kelli at all. Although her last episode wasn't bad, if I look past the fact that I hate her. Perhaps not seeing this will be a good thing.

its weird that Belle's kidnapping is there since it was only shown earlier this year so feels too recent to be included in a Home and Away Early Years special.

Enjoyed seeing the Sarah Lewis episodes though.

I agree,a strange inclusion in what so far have been some great, gripping 'horror' episodes, the Belle 'kidnap' is a bit of a damp squib to end the first day of them on,I reckon.

Still,can't wait for tomorrows!!

There was so much on I fancied watching, I was channel hopping like mad yesterday! Anyway I watched the episodes from 4pm - to about 6:35ish and then from about 7:30pm - 8:00pm. I was a bit dissapointed not to see the abbatoir blow up, but I've seen it before so I wasn't too devastated :P.

The Sarah stuff really deserved to be in there. I'd forgotten how gripping and what an on the edge of your seat episode, the 2004 Olympic Cliffhanger was :o. It's only really when I watch episode 3952, I think that all the Zoe/Eve buisness was really carefully planned and written very well. Sometimes it got a bit daft but all in all, just watching the flashbacks of all the events leading up to the stalker being revealed, it really hit me that if it hadn't of been for Felix, none of the stalker stuff would ever have happened! It sounds weird, but when you think that none of the storylines over the past couple of years or so, would have happened if it hadn't of been for him. The seige, Zoe arriving, the plane crash, the murder mystery party, Marc Edwards being killed, Zoe 'dieing', Zoe coming back again, Zoe dieing again (but for real :P) etc....was all pretty much down to Felix.

While I was watching the episodes, I was trying to think of what the show would be like if all the stalker stuff hadn't of happened. The simple answer is that 'The Stalker Storyline' as a whole (from beginning to the end at Jack and Martha's wedding), has got to go down in H&A history as one of the most changing things to affect Summer Bay and the characters. Alot of things would be different if it hadn't of been for all the horrors that came with Sarah and Zoe. What Summer Bay would be like if they hadn't of turned up...I don't know! I presume that it would have been a bit more peaceful...and of course Noah would still be alive most likely :(, and I'm sure there are other things that the storyline as a whole, did to shape the show as it is now.

I am loving the horrors weekend. It's good to see some eps I didn't catch such as the bus crash, mudslide and car over cliff...

A weekend like this does go to show that you do have do suspend belief in these soaps... much as I love H&A - all those disasters - and that poor Jade Sutherland... trapped in the mudslide, the bus crash, the mineshaft and then going over the cliff.... poor cow! I think Martha said it all when she said "those Sutherlands seemed Jinxed!"

It also showed me how much good stuff I missed in the early year 2000s...

Lots of disasters but some great episodes and some great writing!

I also thought - as an aside - that the incidental music used in the earlier eps (e.g.: mudslide) was much better and pacier than the current eps...

It's also a bit wierd - particularly today - to hear voice overs from some characters who weren't even in the eps like Martha and Ric!!

AND... how fake was that dummy Seb on the bonnet of the car when it went over the cliff!

It was over one of the sets of closing credits - possibly after the mineshaft aftermath...

And then again she wittered on after the car crash "what a terrible accident..."
