I actually missed one of the Belle's kidnapping eps and i am bias because i love Belle...

Yep Mirgini would be better ......i don't get why we have to see THREE Gypsy/Mudslide episodes...though it was quite good.

Hahaha, a reason i do like the Belle one is because of that 'unique" ring tone. HAHAHA. That really tickles me.

Dunno whether i'm fussed about Sarah and Jesse...probably will be good though.

I really would not class Belle's kidnapping as a horror myself .

Me neither .

Thanks for the info Dan :D. Five Life are totally spoiling us aren't they?! I'm glad the seige is there...that deserves to be there. Belle's kidnapping is an odd one to put in there though. Most of the first episode (4336) was about the Hawaiin night!!!...hardly what I would call a 'horror'

I need to buy yet more tapes!...excellent :P. If Five Life keep coming up with these specials, they are slowly but surely going to run out of ideas!!...

I'm disappointed at no Mirigini but I wonder if that's being saved for a special over Christmas, when I imagine the current episodes will go on a week or so's hiatus, now the policy is to fall back behind Australia a bit.

Belle's kidnapping's a bit too recent - really they should have also shown the Olympic Pre-Cliffhanger from 2004 as well as both of those episodes form a cracking one-hour special when shown back to back. But I'm glad that's in there.

Of course, the sad thing is that the rights aren't available for the pre-Five stuff... it'd be nice to have a "Top 20 Best Single Episodes" run down or similar over the 20th B'day weekend.

I also notice that the Seb/Duncan/Jade car crash is being shown, which was famously one of the most edited episodes of the whole Five era when originally shown in late 2004 - will they show uncut this time?

The Cyclone episodes hold that record, unfortunately <_<

I don't like the idea of the Belle's kidnapping and the cliff crash, because both of them spend a whole episode in a party then have a 20 second 'horror' scene at the end! I agree the mirigini disaster should have been on there, although episodes were added and taken away in the arrivals/ departures weekend, soooo fingers crossed!!

I don't know why Belle's kidnapping is there. It's so not a horror, it just had me in fits of laughter. Don't ask me why. And I have seen the Mudslide eps recently and fair enough, they were pretty good but why THREE Eps?

I agree the Mirigini would have been great. I'm aching to find that Ep somewhere. Also glad the Sarah stuff is there. That's more of a 'horror', and its an R Rated Adult Movie compared to Belle's kidnapping.

If they wanted a Horror special, they should be doing it on the weekend nearest Halloween. I'm happy with the Sarah episodes that are going to be shown but they could have put more Zoe episodes on as well.

Who actually has the rights to the pre-2000 episodes?

I'm happy to see Gypsy's stalker episodes. Not so much for the storyline itself, but for the awesome Will/Dani storyline! :D I'm also glad to see the Seb/Jade/Duncan crash to remind me why I hate Duncan. I guess I'm in the minority, because I think Belle's kidnapping was a perfect edition to the Horrors special. Any episode with Belle in it is horrifying to me.

I could guess one of three things

i)ITV have it and well, there's no reason for them to show it.

ii)No one has it, but Five would find it worthless to buy it.

iii)That thing about actors contracts getting in the way, though me and Dan recently wondered whether or not a repeat was a repeat if it had never aired on that channel before.

Are the actors getting repeat fees now for the old episodes on Five Life?
