sammymac Posted October 31, 2007 Report Posted October 31, 2007 on the very first episode of home and away there was a ginger cat sitting outside ailsas shop.
vikkysmile Posted November 2, 2007 Report Posted November 2, 2007 Does no-one remember Curtis and Shannons dog mindi?
tyty0932 Posted January 22, 2008 Report Posted January 22, 2008 ive noticed this on many tv shows there are very few pets around occasionally one will be introduced but it will never be seen from again
Shae Posted January 27, 2008 Report Posted January 27, 2008 I remember when Colleen sat on Max's pet rat and Flynn had to give the rat mouth to mouth while Sally was laughing about it in the background. That one was too funny!
Merli Posted June 9, 2009 Report Posted June 9, 2009 Didn't Jonah/Michael have a dog, who was hit by Jack's car? But funny that nobody has a everyday pet.
Barbara Posted June 9, 2009 Report Posted June 9, 2009 ^ That was Scruffy. It mustn't be easy to work with animals, esp. when it's on a soap. I read somewhere they didn't have that much time to film scenes, edit them etc before the actual episodes air. I don't remember if the article was about H&A or another soap but I guess it is probably the same for all soaps. I've also read articles about/watched interviews of some actors saying it was harder to work with animals and young children.
HAA Girl 08 Posted June 9, 2009 Report Posted June 9, 2009 I really don't want pets in Summer Bay. I don't want it to turn into Neighbours where they have some injured dog on screen every night.
Merli Posted June 10, 2009 Report Posted June 10, 2009 Yeah, I understand it's hard to work with pets, like Barbara said. It would change the show if there was a pet. Not sure if the change would be good or bad. Anyway, that's not normal that nobody has a pet in little city, but I can totally understand, why there isn't any in Home and Away.
madaboutkylie Posted June 10, 2009 Report Posted June 10, 2009 Yes, i wish they would have more pets pets are cute
