matty and luke forever Posted September 2, 2007 Report Posted September 2, 2007 ^ I get where your comign from but like many have said you can't work a 4/5 year old child the same hours that a 29 would wokr! The last scene Pippa was in for us in the UK was possible when Brad,Mattie, Ric and her were making pizza
simmins Posted September 4, 2007 Report Posted September 4, 2007 thanks for that matty and luke forever, but I agree with someone who said it really makes sally look like she doesn't really care for her child. dumping her child on other people, its stupid.
grinch-girl Posted September 4, 2007 Report Posted September 4, 2007 thanks for that matty and luke forever, but I agree with someone who said it really makes sally look like she doesn't really care for her child. dumping her child on other people, its stupid. not really, coz it's a soap not a fly on the wall documentary. i know its meant to reflect real life but some things just aren't possible, like having young children there alllll the time. just accept it. i know what you mean about it being a bit weird, but it can't be helped. maybe they could just use a cardboard cut out of pippa instead? lol
tmg Posted September 4, 2007 Report Posted September 4, 2007 I would just love to hear Sally say "Oh i can't meet you for a glass of wine at the moment because there is noone to look after Pippa" or Sally having to take the day off work to look after a sick little Pippa...
~Lynd~ Posted September 5, 2007 Report Posted September 5, 2007 I'm surprised Sally was allowed to foster Cassie and Ric and DOCS haven't bee called in .I know it's a show but really, how hard is it to include Pippa in the conversation a little?Even to as the poster above me said, say she's sick.It seems a bit neglectful to be fobbing her off to Betty all the time.Especially after all the trouble it took to have her. You'd think Sally would care more. The same goes with Leah and VJ.
emmasi Posted September 5, 2007 Report Posted September 5, 2007 A lot of Leah's scenes are at the Diner, so it's not as noticeable when VJ's isn't around.
Dark Angel Posted September 5, 2007 Report Posted September 5, 2007 I can understand people being a bit annoyed that lil Pippa isn't in as many episodes as we would like, but saying that this means Sally doesn't care about/love her is just silly. After all this is just a soap and as such the writers/producers/etc have to abide by child labour laws.....imagine the uproar if lil Pippa was in just about every episode, people would be saying the actor was getting exploited and used for the sake of "only" a TV show. As the saying goes, "damned if you do, and damned if you don't". An.d while I know she could be mentioned more, its not like they forget her altogether and with Sally being a working mother its no wonder she is often looked after by family friends/neighbours. On a lighter note, I loved seeing lil Pippa in last nights wedding preparation episode, she was so adorable getting ready with Pippa, and her mention of Flynn - "There's Daddy" - nearly brought tears to my eyes. Its moments like these that you appreciate when lil Pippa is around!
grinch-girl Posted September 5, 2007 Report Posted September 5, 2007 she goes to playgroup sometimes though as well doesn't she? it's quite normal for kids to be at playgroup in the day and not with their mothers who are working anyway.
AD1 Posted September 6, 2007 Report Posted September 6, 2007 Im watching the UK episodes, and its so unrealistic not to see pipp with sally, the writers can't just forget about pippa for sally.
